  1. Montreal: There is a new sheriff in town. Zach attacked by Arbor https://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/n265616
  2. For those who wish to tank for...........Bedard https://canucksarmy.com/news/connor-bedard-picks-vancouver-canucks-win-2023-stanley-cup
  3. Game on now. https://www.ahltv.com/#/play/game/998268?audio=2
  4. The Leafs will make it to the conference finals. They have hockey Gaud on their side now.
  5. Captain going into his prime years. He will be signed before the start of the season.
  6. Just made it up. I believe their top 9 is going to be one of the top 10 in the league. The 4th line is going to be better than last year 4th line. A season that starts with Bruce from the beginning.
  7. It's been a while since the Canucks got a hard hitting 4th liner. Noticed he had a good playoffs in the AHL. Playoffs Season Team GP G A PTS +/- PIM PPG SHG GWG SOG SOA SO% SH SH% 2022 Calder Cup Playoffs Springfield Thunderbirds 18 7 8 15 8 58 0 0 0 0 0 0.0 45 15.6 Total 18 7 8 15 8 58 0 0 0 0 0 0.0 45 15.6
  8. Signing Miller, adding the two good Russians increases the Canucks odds of making the playoffs by 50%. Will be very exciting season.
  9. They had to replace the one and only Jim Benning with over 6 management wise guys and wise gals.
  10. Bang on. We are very fortunate to live in one of the best places in the world. Mountains, forest and ocean. Clean fresh air. A sailor who worked on a ship told me years ago that Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Too bad there are many spoiled complainers who live here. After vacationing at a sunny hot place for weeks, it still feels good stepping out in the cold, damp rain after exiting YVR. Canadian Matthew McGill who is volunteered to fight in the Ukraine told Global News: Just be grateful that we don’t have war in Canada.”
  11. I think this big, fast, hard hitting 6'6", 222 lbs 23 year old Russian- Alexei Toropchenko- replaced Dakota Joshua on the St. Louis Blues. His father Leo, who played in the AHL in the 1990s, passed away at age 48 years old just before Alexei came over to play for the Guelph Storm in the OHL. This is a story where you want this kid to reach his goal of playing in the NHL and have a good career. https://theathletic.com/3189939/2022/03/24/who-is-alexei-toropchenko-the-step-by-step-path-of-the-blues-prospect-and-why-st-louis-is-lucky-to-have-him/
  12. I am sure Kesler and his family enjoyed working and living in Vancity where everybody knows your name. I think it has to do with family reasons and to get away from the FISH BOWL. Like American Johnny Hockey said: it was time to make a little bit of a change, it was a special place for me. I loved it there. The fans were great to me. Jeff Petry got his wish to be traded to a US team the other day. PJ JT went back to Toronto. Established, rich high end hockey players can pick where they want to live and play just like anybody in the top of their profession. You don't see many doctors moving to the little hick towns up north. Like Johnny, Kesler gave Vancouver gave most of his prime hockey years. He will always fondly look back and know he gave it all playing in Vancouver. Even when the fans hated him when he decided to leave. 13. Playing in California. Where not many people know you name and you can disappear in the city of Angels unless the vulture Canadian markets. Part of an interview with Ryan Kesler. Ryan Kesler finished a media session with reporters after a morning skate and the conversation turned toward the weather. Kesler has been in Southern California for about a month, and the daytime temperature rarely dipped below 85 degrees. On a day off, he rode bikes with his family around the postcard Orange County beach cities of Laguna Beach and Corona del Mar. "It's a beautiful spot," Kesler said. "Does it ever rain here? It's amazing. No complaints. The family loves it." Told that the locals consider 55 degrees to be seriously cold, Kesler was almost dumbfounded. "Fifty-five? That's shorts weather," he said. Kesler has settled into a new residence with an ocean view, in a climate opposite to his former home, as he begins the second phase of his hockey career. He is a member of the Anaheim Ducks, right down to the shorts-and-sandals attire his teammates wear to work every day. "Waking up every morning and seeing the ocean is definitely something I never thought I'd be doing, especially walking to the rink in flip flops," he said. "I hear in December it gets a little weird. It's a little exciting."
  14. Give the kid a chance. He is going to play this coming season. Another offensive D man to compliment Hughes. Colorado has three of them.
  15. And Bedard is going to hold out until he is traded to the Canucks.
  16. They picked three 1st round picks last week. Two young D man traded from Ottawa for B-Cat. Hopefully, they don't win the lottery next year. We need to bring out the Blackhawk Voodoo doll.
  17. It would be worth it if they Canucks win the Cup and we see Miller hoisting the Cup screaming ..Fukkking Right!!!!! I might cry.
  18. Thomas Gradin is one of the most talent, classy players to play for the Vancouver Canucks. He was also one of the toughest Canucks who never back down in the fighting, holding, slashing era. His bodyguards Smyl and Fraser were pretty good players too. I was fortunate to meet him a couple of times at my work. He talked hockey for 10 minutes with us. Nice man.
