  1. The never ending re-build or re-too. They will decide this summer. Canucks will most likely be in the playoffs at the rate they are going.
  2. I agree. I always like big, tough players with size who can score, like Miller. Rick Tocchet, Ryan Getzlaf, Luc Debois, Ryan Kesler, no like Messier, Iginla, Jamie Benn.......... Like Bieksa said, keep him, they don't grow on trees. But again, my friend said, if you can get a young big, tough stay at home defenseman who can defend and make it really hard for forwards in the front of the net........Pronger, Robinson and Peewee Human in Vegas.
  3. Miller is one of the top 10 players in the NHL. He can score, pass, fight and very competitive. He has heart, emotion and hates to lose. He can't be replaced. I say they extend him for 4 years and $200 million with benefits.
  4. Jason Robertson, 6'3", 200 lbs, gets back to back hat tricks. He has 29 goals now. He was a kid who love hockey that his father moved his family to Michigan so his kids could play hockey there. He is half Filipino. His little brother, Nickolas score last night against the Canucks. Too bad JB didn't pick him at the draft a few years ago. https://www.thestar.com/sports/hockey/2022/03/06/robertson-gets-another-hat-trick-to-lead-stars-past-wild.html He grew up going to the Kings games, playing mini-sticks in the hallways. His favorite player player was Jason Allison because he had the same name. Side note: The Hughes brothers also hanged out at the Leaf's Scotiabank arena when their father worked for the Leafs. Playing at the Staples centre for the 1st time. https://www.latimes.com/sports/hockey/story/2021-12-08/nhl-jason-robertson-dallas-stars-staples-center-arcadia-filipino-heritage
  5. Start complaining every time they play a game. They will win a lot of games. Most people complained about Boeser passing the puck to Moonpant giving the Leafs a 4-3 lead. Boeser got the puck in the corner in the 3rd period and passed it to Hamonic who shot the puck which was tipped in by Pearson - game tied 4-4.
  6. He is getting better after his lay-off. He has 1G, 2 assist and +4 in his last 5 games. The right side D men are all playing well. Meyers and Shenn. I was thinking they all have a lot of experience and been around the NHL for years. The are all physical too.
  7. Schenn is going to win his 3rd straight SC in a row with the Canucks.
  8. Hey, the man standing by the car door is Todd, the meth dealer on the "Breaking Bad" TV series. One of the best series ever!
  9. Chiasson used his big body to screen the goalie on Hamonic's goal. He also scored a goal and had 5 shots.
  10. Boston traded star Barry Pederson for Cam Neely and a 1st round pick (Glenn Wesley). They knew he had two surgeries to remove cancer from his shoulder and decided to trade him. In the summer of 1986, Pederson was a valuable commodity. Still just 25, he was considered one of the best young centres in the game. He had already posted two 100-point seasons, and was only two years removed from finishing third in the NHL in assists and sixth in points. To the offense-starved Vancouver Canucks, who were the third-lowest scoring team in the league the previous year, he looked like a saviour and had the added attraction of being a 'local boy' - while originally from Saskatchewan, he had played his junior hockey nearby in Nanaimo and Victoria from the age of 15 onward. However, Boston management were convinced that, despite Pederson's age, his best years were behind him as a result of two surgeries during the 1984–85 season to remove a tumour from his shoulder. On June 6, 1986, the Canucks signed Pederson as a restricted free agent. Cam Neely was left unprotected by Vancouver and went to the Bruins along with a first-round draft pick in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft as compensation for Pederson. The ninth overall pick in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft, Neely's development had stagnated and he finished the 1985–86 season with just 14 goals. However, Boston coveted his size and toughness, and considered him a potential heir apparent to Bruin players of the past such as Terry O'Reilly and Wayne Cashman.
  11. Jannick Hansen was on the radio the other day, saying the Nucks need a big tough guy on the 4th line. Who can response to the other tough guy tactics. He said the other players will feel 3 inches bigger taller and bigger.
  12. He was such on a roll. Two assists tonight, 13 points in his last 6 games. Fuking Canuck curse.
  13. Rathbone could be better, compare him to Adam Fox. Rathbone was just named AHL player of the Week - 10 points in 4 games. SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League announced today that Abbotsford Canucks defenseman Jack Rathbone has been selected as the AHL Player of the Week for the period ending February 13, 2022. Rathbone notched three goals and seven assists for 10 points in four games for Abbotsford last week, more than doubling his offensive output for the season. Last Monday, Rathbone had a five-point night with a goal and four assists in the Canucks’ 8-5 win over Tucson. He came back with another assist on Wednesday as Abbotsford defeated the Roadrunners, 5-0, and tallied a goal and an assist during the Canucks’ five-goal first period en route to an 8-2 victory over Manitoba on Friday. Rathbone completed the week with a goal and an assist on Saturday as Abbotsford knocked off the Moose, 5-2. The Canucks outscored their opponents 26-9 in the four games, with Rathbone on the ice for 14 goals for and just three against. A second-year pro out of Harvard University, the 22-year-old Rathbone now has five goals and 14 assists for 19 points in 18 AHL games this season, while also skating in nine National Hockey League contests with the parent Vancouver Canucks. Rathbone, a Boston native, was selected by Vancouver in the fourth round of the 2017 NHL Draft. He collected nine points in eight AHL games with Utica in 2020-21, and added one goal and two assists in eight NHL outings with the Canucks.
  14. He score 1 goal and 1 assist tonight, should had another assist if Miller was on side. What game were you watching?
  15. Hog needs to spark his team. Pick a fight with the gentle giant - Chara. I won $5 on the over/under - 5.
  16. Miller will not be traded if the Canucks are slotted in a playoff position on March 21/22
  17. Covid is BS? That's what these anti-vativaxxers all agree on. https://www.sorryantivaxxer.com/ Our resident anti-vativaxxer who was always on Gobal News also died, he left behind a wife and young child. https://www.sorryantivaxxer.com/post/makhan-singh-parhar-48-delta-bc-ca-yoga-instructor-flat-earther-anti-vaxxer-dead
  18. Bakersfield pulls their goalie down one goal. Surrenders a empty net goal and scores two goals 6 on 5 to send it into overtime. They score with 3 seconds left to tie the game and then, win it in OT. 18:28 Noah Juulsen (2) Ashton Sautner (2) (EN) 19:00 Cooper Marody (11) James Hamblin (5), Seth Griffith (18) 19:57 James Hamblin (5) Philip Broberg (11), Cooper Marody (12) OT 3:50 Vincent Desharnais (3)
  19. January 7/21 The baby Canucks seal the deal by scoring the empty net goal at 18:38 to take a 3-1 lead. Bakersfield pulls their goalie again and scores at the 19:00 mark, then scores again with 3 seconds left in the game to tie it. Bakersfield win it overtime to win the Calder Cup. The Bakersfield announcer goes nuts! The Abbotsford announcer Finn resigns from his Abbotsford part-time job.
