I can’t wait to see Suzuki in the top 6 for a full season. He would have been in the running for the Calder (likely 3rd) if he was in the top 6 all year
AV conveniently ignored the fact that Stepan’s jaw was broken on a hit rather than a deliberate crosscheck to the face. And that there was a two game suspension levied.
Ottawa has Hoberg. He’s likely got as much potential as Demko. Adding Demko just creates an expansion draft issue for them. I can’t imagine they’d be interested in that package for a 1st
I think it’s been officially addressed. There won’t be any compliance buyouts. They only serve to compound the owners loses and increase the amount the players owe to the owners(revenue wise). With the agreement in place to freeze the cap ave cap escrow they won’t be doing anything else to increase the imbalance in the revenue split.
Price has to be getting frustrated. He’s given up 3 goals in 3 games and the Habs are still down 2 games to 1. Now today they’re down 1-0 and that could be enough for Philly again
Next season starts this December. Tryamkin is sign to the KHL for next season. Since he’s RFA he’d need to be signed by a certain date (probably early Feb or so) in order to be eligible to play for the Canucks st any point next season. He won’t be able to do that because he’ll still be playing in the KHL. Then his rights expire August 1st. He won’t be playing a game for Vancouver next season and could very well wait until he hits free agency before he signs with anyone. I wouldn’t bank on seeing him in a Canucks uniform
They’re the cup champs. They literally went through this last season. I’d think they have a pretty good handle on handling the ups and downs of playoff hockey. I doubt media attention has any effect in their confidence one way or another.
