  1. Better tighten that tinfoil cap there pal. Your brains are leaking out
  2. I’m not questioning either. The league has their own protocols for determining the validity of LTIR claims. Not to mention the insurance adjusters who have to approve payouts on guaranteed contracts. I’m perfectly ok with letting the people who have the actual information make the decisions rather than some fan with a conspiracy theory
  3. I’m curious. Do you also require proof to satisfy you personally regarding Ferland and Sutter? Or it just other team’s use of LTIR that’s suspect?
  4. Wow. And how would you like to be proven wrong? Price has entered the voluntary player assistance program. Do you think he’s sitting through intense counseling sessions for at least 30 days just as a favour to Bergevin? Some of the conspiracy theories on this site are hilarious. This one is sad and pathetic and you should feel ashamed for suggesting it
  5. Again. Questioning Price here is completely over the line. The guy has always been a class act. He represented himself, his team his community and his country in a manner that should make us all proud. Cheapening what he’s going through with words like “if his issues are legit” and “foul play” makes you seem small and petty. Do you honestly think Price would allow himself to be a pawn in some weird cap space ploy? You should be ashamed of yourself
  6. Suggesting Price is faking a mental illness is beyond disgusting
  7. Nice try, but If Either Montreal’s or Carolinas 1st is in the top 10 then Montreal keeps the higher pick and Arizona gets the lower pick
  8. They’ll be tight to the cap for a bit. I think the offer sheet war is done
  9. Yup. The upside for Vancouver is that Juulsen has already cleared waivers. If Joulevi had been placed on waivers there’s a chance he would have been lost for nothing.
  10. The general consensus in the hockey world seems to be that this is an excellent signing. if he continues to develop like he has it could be one of the best contracts in the league in a few years
  11. 20 unimpressive games I’m the NHL and he thinks he’s earned the right to demand a trade. Back to the KHL seems likely
  12. Nice. This takes him to age 31. He’s only 22. Just finished his second season scoring at a .73 ppg pace. He’s not even close to his ceiling yet.
  13. They said he was healthy last season when he finally came back. But then Montreal lost him to Florida on waivers. And he just sat on the taxi squad in Florida last season. The kid needs to play some actual NHL minutes. Not sure if he’s had any lingering issues but the fact that Florida put him an waivers last week and he cleared makes me wonder if he’s still an NHL player
  14. he took two pucks to the face in an NHL game and has had ongoing vision issues and migraines ever since. He was tracking to be a very good two-way top 4 guy. Hopefully he can get back to where he was
  15. One way and two way contracts have no bearing on the waiver requirement. A player on a 2 way contract gets paid less in the minors. If it’s a 1 way contract they get their NHL in the minors. That’s literally the only difference.
  16. Doesn’t matter what side Romanov plays. Montreal wouldn’t move him for Depietro
  17. They very well could miss. The east is much deeper and the Atlantic is arguably the toughest division. That doesn’t make them a bottom feeder team any more than Vancouver making the playoffs (if they do) in the weakest division makes them a cup favourite. Regardless. I was commenting on the likelihood of Montreal moving Romanov for Depietro +
  18. Montreal has Primeau. Who is just as good a goaltending prospect as Depietro. (If not better). Romanov is only 21 and is already an established part of their D. His role will only increase as he develops. He’s a young, cheap, NHL’er and hits like a truck. They won’t move him for a redundant goalie prospect
  19. They had a shot at both Cale Fleury and Noah Juulsen this week and didn’t claim either.
  20. There’s no limit. If you send a player down who requires waivers then there’s a possibility that they’ll be claimed. You don’t get a free pass just because you’ve already lost a player to waivers
  21. Montreal isn’t going to trade their best defenceman who’s has 4 years of term left if they happen to be out of contention at the trade deadline. They like throwing in the towel for the next couple seasons too.
  22. What a bad take. He literally just went to the cup final and you act like he’s languishing in hell. The truth of the matter is there’s no sense in speculating on what the issue is. He’s struggling snd he’s getting the help he needs
  23. Different era. Different game. Semenko wouldnt make an NHL roster now
