  1. This is not "let her rip" most people are vaxxed now or have been infected and recovered.
  2. End mandates and lockdowns. How about that for a start?
  3. What I am saying is do we want to continue down the failed path of mandates/lockdowns, which absolutely do cause damage. Or do we want to try something different, or even think about trying something different?
  4. No feels here. Fact is we are currently in a period where mandates are indefinite.
  5. Okay, well some of the other adults want to look over that decision. Things have changed and it is wise reassess things.
  6. Source for it? We are living it right now.
  7. - Damage caused to children - Society being divided up into groups and setup against each other - Damage caused to the economy - Devaluation of the CAD our buying power - Damage to people mental health
  8. The problem here is so far that is not correct. Vaccination has not done what is was supposed to do, with people still catching/spreading/dying of covid even if 2x vaxxed. So we instead doubled down on more lockdowns and more of the same failed approach, like vaccine mandates.
  9. Okay, thanks for the poll. I guess the question should be, at this point what would you guys not support? Indefinite mandates and lockdowns seems pretty terrible to me, especially after you factor in all the damages that they cause to everyone.
  10. Not very good, most people do not simply vote for one single policy.
  11. They are humans the same as you and I, deserving of dignity and empathy. Same as anyone else.
  12. 90% of the country disagrees? How can you possibly claim to know that, honestly how? I could say all these same things right back to you, but I am not trying to polarize anyone here. What I am trying to do is express a viewpoint that is different than the groupthink going on here with the hopes that some people at least can open their minds to a difference in ideas.
  13. What Heffy is, is the king of is dehumanizing. Read through his posts, calling these people stupid, parasites, etc. is exactly dehumanizing. It is wrong. dehumanization the process of depriving a person or group of positive human qualities.
  14. I am sorry, I don't contribute much, but I am an avid Canucks fan. I am more of a lurker I suppose. That being said, that is irrelevant to what we are discussing now and a pretty weak attempt to silence my point of view here.
  15. No, the vast majority does not disagree. Dehumanizing these people is a seriously problematic/brutal way to think. Democracy is supposed to enable the free exchange of ideas/viewpoints, not the suppression of them. Please, show some empathy and try to have an open mind.
  16. These people are not "fringe crazies" but fellow Canadians the same as you and I. They have raised over $6M in about a week, which shows they do in fact have a lot of support within this country. Get out of the groupthink and open your minds, it is time to end these destructive mandates.
  17. Thanks Nice to hear this, and I am looking forward to seeing him dominate the WHL next year.
  18. Looking to see what Matthias can bring. Been a while since the Canucks have had a really good 3C. Hope he can relieve the pressure on Hank & Kes like Manny used to.
  19. Thanks for posting. Some of the downers on here should listen to this. Nice dose of common sense in here.
  20. Kesler getting traded better bring back a young offensive center otherwise the trade is a fail. Canucks desperately need offence, and Kesler already represents a big chunk of that offence, so any trade we make with him better bring us back some significant offence. Or at least the potential for big offence in a season or two.
  21. Yeah, I agree. It would be pretty silly for CBJ to trade him. But you have to think that if the Canucks offered a player like Kesler for him they would consider it. A two way player like Kesler has ALOT of value, if we trade him it has to be to the highest bidder giving us back quality young players.
  22. Yeah, they are. But Kesler would help their chances to get in. So this trade would be an upgrade for them.
