  1. I had a tough time deciding who to vote for as "BEST MASCOT"....... or or
  2. What's wrong with the Canucks medical staff ???
  3. How about some Russian cheerleaders? If they bring them in - I'm renewing my Season Tickets Pkg - full 41 games!!!!!
  4. Technically yes! But from us having to watch him on this team - 11 Days!
  5. I don't think you need to necessarily be Kings fan to come to that conclussion !
  6. 11 days to go until Myers is gone Forever. (Count 'em) Can't wait!
  7. You are correct! However, something tells me it's Aqua-Lini meddling again and preventing change - keeping false hope and promises up in the name of Revenue $$$. Especially since even JR finally gave up in disgust and came to his senses and admitted "This Team Needs MAJOR SURGERY" and yet all I've seen is Bo get traded and two extremely high draft picks in a generational draft class be thrown away for an badly injured (unserviceable) D-Man (HornWreck) that might hopefully be healthy enough to play some-time next year. These insignificant actions smell of "ReTool" not "Major Surgery" to any serious canucks fan and shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that someone is preventing JR from doing - what he and long-time Canucks fans knows needs to be done. Guess who that is?
  8. We'll if Tock-it didn't play "the snot" out of our only good D-Man (Quinn) for 59 minutes a game and Demko and didn't shorten the bench every 3rd period in desperation to get wins, we might lose a couple more games and that can make a huge difference in draft positioning. All these "Vanity wins" are counter productive to draft positioning and while I know Tock-it's trying to improve things, he should tempo that and not burn-out players and lose better draft seeding in a year where nothing they do matters anymore.
  9. Yes, the outcome is great for our draft positioning! Too bad we've won those other late-season meaningless games over the last while. Same thing every year..............
  10. That was one of the 4 playoff contending teams the Canucks managed to squeek a win by out of the 27 games they've played since All-star Break - two months ago.
  11. This loss against L.A. is yet another perfect example why we need/ed a REBUILD. For all the "dreamers" that say "we're close", after Tock-It took over, the facts are; that since the All-Star break, the Canucks have only managed to win against 4 teams (a total of 6 games) that are in a playoff position out of 27 Games. Sad but True! The reality is we've been playing bottom-feeder teams for the last two months who are dedicated to tanking - unlike our "smart" team that appears great against those basement dwellers. When it comes to playing good teams - we still can't compete with this same core group of players we've had for years. We have a lonnnnnng way to go............

  13. But, he might be able to squeek-in on an AHL position somewhere if he gets his game in shape overthe summer.
  14. Well, I sure hope you're right and time will tell. We'll just have to hang tight and see what happens at draft time and in the summer at FA to see what RHD's are/will be available and their cost.
  15. If we would have waited until the summer, we would have got him for a fraction of what we wasted on him - let alone there will other RHD's available then. Buying at the TDL is like buying roses at Valentines! Anyone older than a "Millenial' will confirm that!
  16. .....but at least there's a chance the mystery box could play unlike our seriously injured - out of commission - until next year (possibly) - trade acquisition with only one year left on his contract.
  17. Very well Said ! The cap hit from an OEL buyout now is staggering and certainly won't happen in the next year - maybe two, at which time I'm hoping they simply trade him with a bit of salary retention rather than a double whammed cap hit. Unfortunately this will be go down as the "L.E. type contract" of the twenties and be Jim Benning's parting legacy on this team.
  18. These so called "credits" are one of the most ingenious marketing scams ever conceived. All they are doing is giving you your own money back and forcing you to buy food or items marked up by stratospheric amounts. I always laughed ever time they'd send me my preloaded gift card every year and tried to call it a gift! LOL !!!
  19. That's the worst place to watch a game. Better off going to a real sports bar and take the money you've wasted on the terrible seating location way up there - and use it on more booze.
  20. Who's complaining about throwing away two extremely valuable & badly needed high 1st AND 2nd Rd. draft picks being thrown away by a team depleted of good prospects in a deep generational draft year - for an old unserviceable (but maybe next year) "Potential" older defenseman in a lop-sided trade? Nobody's come close to complaining about that for over 10 hours now!
  21. I for one am glad to see the Russian input and influence on this team - hopefully replacing the overly strong Swedish influence that this team has had for over a generation, which has gotten us nowhere. Besides the above average talent and skill they bring to the team, most Russian players at least smile occasionally and have some form of human expression and don't carry a "scowl" on their face 24/7 which is a breath of fresh air.
  22. Oh Yeaaaaaaaa! I forgot about those guys. Gee-whiz - how could I have forgotten about that! Thanks! It's been so rare that we've had first round picks around here in the last few years with JB and JR throwing them away like candy and getting fleeced on lop-sided trades for Old vets & has-been's from other teams that are trying to unload them on us - that you kinda forget. At least we still have one top pick left (for now) in this years draft until the third round when we might get lucky and find a rare AHL caliber player able to make and stay at the farm-team level. That looks promising, especially since we no longer need anymore 1st & 2nd round players to restock our barren / depleted cupboards after trading away so many/pretty well all our prospects - because this team doesn't need any rebuilding as we are already a Stanley-cup contender; proven by the fact that after playing 26 games since the all star break On Feb 3rd, that this team has beaten a grand total of 4 teams (a total of 6 games) that are currently in playoff position which proves beyond a shadow of a doubt how powerful this assembly of players we have are. I see your logic now! Thanks!!!
