  1. I've been saying since the day that Uncle Willie was jettisoned, that Green was simply "an Interim" coach. He was and never will be capable of pushing these players over the hump - AND HE KNOWS IT ! His days are numbered - rest assured of that!
  2. Agree - its going to be "a shame" when we finally have to unload him in a couple of months - but that's the way she goes sometimes.......
  3. Whining - it's "an Alberta thing" ! I rest my case......................
  4. As I've stated several times in the last few months, Lazy Jake has a short leash around these parts and unless he turns things around this year, will certainly be traded while he is worth anything. My prediction is that he won't survive and will be packaged off to some team somewhere in the deep south where we'll never hear of him again - for a third maybe-second rounder.
  5. I generally agree with most that it will be about 3-4 years from now when we make a serious push. In the meantime i certainly expect they will make the playoffs this year and by the time we are about in our prime , we'll have a new experienced coach and be rid of a few of the "B" players we currently have.
  6. That's because Montreal based teams have won the Stanley cup 41 times !
  7. Erikson is a lazy good for nothing Parasitic Boat-Anchor, sucking up valuable cap space. He should be put on a barge and pushed off to sea! He slows the team down, is dis-engaged, afraid to get in the play, constantly bent over - reaching out with his stick like a wimp and is a very bad example for the young guns. The sooner he's gone "Forever" - the better! NO ONE WANTS YOU HERE LOUI ! Get the hint...............
  8. Is the "30" part of that 9:30 because they're trying to entice the "Newfies" to watch the game?
  9. ............Exactly correct. I've said this since before he ever arrived here that he is just an "interim" coach being used while the team rebuilds. If we make the playoffs he'll likely survive another year, but if not I'd say he'll be out on a limb, as the team is just about ready - within 1-2 years of making "a push". In any event, $5 bucks says he's gone in 2 years or less! (You can "Lazy Jake" to this scenario as well !)
  10. It's not coincidence that once that boat anchor Erikson was benched - everything turned around as he could no longer slow the entire team down to his level.
  11. Like I said.................Keep Erikson off and we win !!!!! (It's not rocket science - Green !)
  12. It's November. TG only prepares the team for one month at a time.
  13. Agree, it's pretty obvious playing around the bigger teams that we still lack alot of grit. Until The Canucks start doing the pushing - we will never rise to the top. It might help with Ferland and Roussel when they're back.
  14. I agree - ericksin was a failure from his first shift scoring on his own net. Right there - at the moment in time, we knew we had a basket case on our hands. The writing was on the wall! Hope he has some manly courage to admit defeat and sail back to the Euro leagues - where he can't cause any more damage.
  15. Don't worry TG and NB are on their last legs. They were always expected to be "interim" coaches used for rebuild purposes only. Unless the Canucks succeed into the playoffs, they will both be gone at years end as the Cunucks rebuild has just about reached the point that they're ready for an real - experienced coach. Be patient - its all part of the plan!
  16. Let me wordsmith your comments a bit....."Reasonable post, Green and Brown are garbage and beat on figuring out the other teams trap ! Ah....................that's more like it!
  17. I agree and good point. If you go back and look at most of the PP goals earlier in the season and the PP attempts in the last few games, the glaring difference is that we've recoiled back to the ol' passing around the perimeter routine - that is much less effective. This comes back down to the coaches motivating and pushing the players to go back into the dirty zone and "earn" the goals.
