Good on faceoffs! Gives us options in the bottom 6. If this year goes sour, we might be able to trade him as cheap center depth.
I think people will love sutter now that he's on a solid deal.
Not at 30 games a year

I wish you could still comment on the 2015 Sutter deal thread.

Anisimov or Bonino. Get them cheap and they will be a hell of a lot better then Sutter

Dude, with a squad this young you need a good PK. It's not all about offence. Signing Sutter for 1 year would be a win as long as it fits under our cap after signing our RFA's.
He’s not even that good tho

He’s good for about 8-9 goals a season which is decent 4th line production if I understand correctly. Aside from that, it’s his face off abilities and PK abilities that will provide a benefit and use for this team.
If he can play more than 40 games

not if he’s asking for 9 million. Nooooo

I don’t mind the signing at all if it’s 2 million or under. The Canucks will need a good RH face off guy that can kill penalties and provide bottom 6 scoring. If Boyd wants to test free agency, then I have no problem at all in bringing Sutter back.
Dude Sutter scores like 5 goals in 2 games then disappears for 30. He won’t provide you with any offence.

1 year league minimum would be a foundational contract

Need him for face offs and pk duty.
Beagle was a big loss in that department.
If it’s under a million then so be it. Anything more than that let him walk.

Can we maybe get someone a little more physical and can play more than 46 games a year?

I came here to say this. No way Petey (or rather his agent) can expect more than Landeskog.
If he demands more I’ll honestly lose a lot of respect for him. Landeskog is a great hockey player and is eons ahead of Petey. If he asks for 9-10, then let the offer sheets roll in.

5m will be my guess

Sounded like he was going after 8-9 mil. Bet he signed for something closer to 7. Seems like fair value for the player to me, 9 would be a bit much. Would have loved for him to be a Canuck in another timeline.
Petey should take a good look at this contract.

He probably wants to win another cup but id love to have Getzlaf in our bottom 9. Would be a huge asset in the dressing room too.

If you research Agenda 2030, and Klaus Schwab The Great Reset, it kind of explains everything. It’s pretty messed up what some of these people want done. I don’t think we will ever see normal again..
