I don't dislike everything they do. I've been vocal on moves I like just as much as on the ones I dislike. Someone who has a past as a coach as you say you do should be able to offer up more than just trust the pros. It comes across as blind support when you fail to offer any other reasoning for your conclusion. 

i have no expertise on coaching, managing or playing, all i have are opinions...i would have liked them to keep dan but i realize they picked up gudbranson and want to give hutton more playing time...

their moves are part of a larger plan...i don't put as much value on my opinions as you do on yours...

He never was an elite scorer though.  But as you said, we’re stuck with the contract Gillis signed.  We can only hope the cap goes up in the future as we’re stuck with the garbage contract.

Unfortunately Newbie, Eriksson was a Benning signing. It just looks like a Gillis signing because it seemed to be the right fit with the Twins and the team. The team was struggling at the time. And the only way to entice a free agent would have been money and term. Which is what Loui got. I'm sure if Benning had the foresight to see what he'd actually perform at. He would never have signed him in the first place.

Gruden is earning his salary this year so far, but as a Bills fan, I know how fast a season can turn and go into the toilet.  If the Raiders win the next two easy games on their schedule (Bengals/Jets) and get to 7-4, then you may want to start thinking possible playoffs.

This exact thing happened to a guy at my bar and while he was sitting there he got the news of both players... guy was in a $250 buy-in keeper league, 2 of his 5 keepers suddenly gone in a span of an hour. needless to say his liquor bill was quite large
