  1. I would have Pettersson, Hughes, Demko, Gaudette, Juolevi...
  2. Hughes18 had a better year in college then Cale Makar 19...Like Hughes better then Makar...
  3. I think Hughes will be something like Reinhart, Great skater that can run the power play with speed.. Will be exciting to watch.. Prospects game July 5th he will show everyone that is at Rogers Arena how good he is.. There will be a buzz in the air after prospect game..
  4. So last year Cale Makar 5'11 drafted 4th O/A 2017 last season in college as 19 yr old GP 34 - Pts 21 Quinn Hughes 5'10 drafted 7th O/A 2018 last seasoning college as 18yr old GP 37 - Pts 29 Really like Quinn Hughes pick, I think he will sign pro contract before August 1st.. Quinn will make the Vancouver Canucks and will turn 19 in October.. Go Canucks Go Juolevi 6'3 will also make the Canucks this season... So many good prospect, after this draft we now have 20 very good prospects.. Never in history have Vancouver had this depth of prospects.. So many turning pro now...Exciting times in Canuck land.....
  5. Calgary lost the trade... To Hurricaines: Hamilton 25, 6'6 17G over 50 pts top pair D man Ferland 26, 6'2 very gritty can play up and down your line up ..We need a Ferland in Vancouver.. FOX 5'11 , 20 - D man- CALGARY # 2 PROSPECT Calgary... Hanifin 6'2, 21 -- 30 point guy future #3 D MAN Lindholm , 23 -- should be a top 6 forward one day maybe..
  6. Jasek and Lockwood are going to surprise the fans... Jasek 6'1 W scoring GP 70 - 25G - 65 Pts next season Utica Lockwood College -- GP 35 - G 20 - 50 Pts next season, very fast, gritty..
  7. Yes i agree with your top 10... Gaudette will have a very solid season.. I feel Demko 27 games, Pettersson 45 points and Hughes 23 points, will all make the Canucks this season.. Juolevi will play 50 games Dahlen 25 games with injuries..
  8. You forgot 5 players , Briesbois 20, 6'3, Jasek 21, 6'1, Gadjovic 20, 6'2, Dipietro G, 19, Tryamkin D, 6'7,
  9. Yes I agree and you forgot Brisebois, 6'3, 20 D, Jasek, 6'1- 20 W, Tryamkin, 6'7, 22, 265lbs Dipietro G, 19 Yes i agree
  10. Would be awesome to have both Hughes brothers...It could happen with some luck in lottery.. We have never drafted 1st.... Going to be some good centres in 2019 draft,,
  11. I agree 100%, there are 8 really good picks available and we will get another very very good pick.. I say a D man.... So excited to see Hughes make Canucks next year...
  12. Yes i just watched the clip of Burke talking about Hughes, saying thats a small small body.. Hughes already played with NHL players on team USA ... He has the amazing skating and speed.. Hughes had a better year in college the Makar....... So excited for the future of Hughes.. Can't wait until are next great pick at # 37 tomorrow morning... There are 8 very good players that got passed over and one will be available for Vancouver tomorrow. We pick 6th in 2nd round... We will come out of draft with some great picks..
  13. I think he will turn pro and make Vancouver with his great speed and skating and high hockey IQ..
  14. Yes your all right, Hughes is a USA player so I guess he can turn pro....No different then European players coming over and playing in the AHL at 19..
  15. Noel is a winger, Benning said he would try for a centre or D man and there are 6 very good D men and 2 good centres...So thats 8 good picks and we will get one ...
  16. Yes like Ginning also...I think Wilde will be gone before #37
  17. ugh ugh Sorry of people feel he could step into the NHL next year, he showed signs playing with USA mens team this past may...He was playing with NHL players and looked fine..
  18. I am very excited with the Quinn Hughes ... Benning mentioned in interview on Sportsnet 650 that Hughes has mention he might be interested in turning pro and not going back to college in the fall... Lots of people think he could hum into the NHL with his great skating and speed..He played with men on USA team that won Bronze and didn't look out of place.. I predict Vancouver sign him soon and he makes the Canucks team this season.. He turns 19 in October....Will be very interesting to follow this great pick... I think we will have a very good pick at #37 tomorrow... Some good prospects passed over....Very excited for the # 37th pick it will be a Centre or D man.. I say it will be another D man... Jett Woo D, 6'0, 205 Jared McIsaac 6'1, 194 D ( Josh Manson type) Mattias Samuelsson 6'3, 205 D
  19. He is not averaging a point a game? 23yrs old, 5'10 we already have lots of player way head of him.. He would be maybe 15th on Canucks prospects list under 23...Would not sign him.. Gp 41 -- 32 Pts GP 44-- 34 Pts
  20. Most interesting for me is Josh Teves 23, 6'0, D man College GP 31 - Pts 33 Rest of the other 5 players I looked at stats were not alarming, maybe fill spot in AHL... Hope we sign a very good college D man with some skill...There are 4-5 real good once, not sure if any team have been signed them...
  21. I would like to see Grandlund play centre on 2nd line in exhibition season if we have not filled #2 centre position...Markus plays a complete game and has showed signs in world Jr u20 playing for Finland and had a 19 goal season here...Lets hope Granny stays health he might be that surprise and I feel he has skill to score 20 goals - 45-55 points..
  22. Sorry #2 centre could be a UFA or player like Spezza 7.5 million 1 yr left, Dallas give up 4th rounder and prospect...
  23. I agree with you he is a complete player that fans have forgot about with his injury and new guys around... Any coach feels comfortable having a forward with speed along with 200 foot game and has some talent.. Markus is a RFA and will be signed.. Sure hope he is given time with Bo on LW......Grandlund - Bo - Boser... If JB does not trade 2. Baertchi - RFA or trade - Virtanen 3. Erickson - Sutter - Archiebald 4. Liepsic - Gaudette - Goldobin So I don't have some players on roster : Pettersson 6'2, Dahlen 5'11, Gaunce 6'2, Motte 5'10 Players 1-2 year away, Jasek 6'1, Lind 6'1, Gadjovich 6'2, MacEwen 6'4 We can see That Baertchi LW could be traded, Goldobin or Leipsic could play in that spot, Jake could also be played on LW
  24. Big Jake 21, 6'1, 215, very fast skater with big shot....IWe have seen a good change with Jake this season using his speed and size to his advantage..This will make D man move back and create more room for teammates and cause havoc around the net and rebounds.. Jake will start season with more confidence and I feel he will play more aggressive and use speed more.. 2018 -19 GP 70 - G 19 - A 19 Pts - 38 Jake is going to be a very exciting player and with confidence other good things will happen.. Green and coaches have done a good job with Jake.. Very excited to see this young talent mature into a 20-25 regular goal scorer before age 24...
