  3. Mathews is making 11.5 million now?The guy is soft and not close to a player like Mackinnon who signed for 12.6 million. Leafs are crazy paying Mathews 13.5 million GP 74 -- PTS 85 -- Mathews is not worth what he is making now 11.5 million Colorado --- Mackinnon 12.6 million GP 71 --PTS 111- Way better player then Mathews signed for 12.6 Vancouver --- Pettersson ? 5. Last 2 seasons averaged 12--13 min TOI---Left younger player break in that are ready playing 13--15 mins that have done there time in AHL for last 2--3 years.
  6. Young guys are ready, Irwin maybe #9 .. I think the opposite he can help young guys in Abby show them some detail of what it takes to be a pro..Irwin #8 - #9--Just depth, will be 36 in November.. Wolanin, Juulsen, Hirose, should be a heads of him..Johassen RD 23 could be ready for some NHL time by Dec?
  7. Hronek 25 RD - Will make Vancouver a better team..This player is skilled, Detroit will miss him.. Detroit have not replaced him yet and will not make the playoffs.. Hard to replace a # 2 RD man there not easy to find never mind skilled RD man like Hronek.
  8. The trade is very good Hronek 25 -6'0 -- #2 RD man on almost any team..You have to pay Middle first and 2nd rounder for player of Hronek skill..Come on ridiculous calling Hronek anything less then a # 2 D man.. Very good trade will make Vancouver much better can log 21--25 mins..
  9. Soucy 28-6'5--215 lbs--LD/RD-- #4 or #5--( 17-- 19 minutes - PK guy -gritty, good defensive- will be good for Vancouver.
  10. These are stats from 2018 - U20 team stats Team Canada ? I think that would mean they played in the tourney?

Some very good NHL players on that team. Will be interesting when they make there final decision who is guilty?
  13. Cal Foote, RD, 24 years old 6’3″, 209 lbs Cal Foote is a player that has been linked to the Canucks a few times over the last few weeks. He ticks a lot of the boxes in what the Canucks should be looking for in a free agent acquisiton. He’s young, fills a position of need, and has that big body that will make the Canucks tougher to play against. I think Foote has upside and would be low cost signing 1 yr X 1 million show me more.
  14. Nick Ritchie, LW, 27 years old 6’3″, 236 lbs-- Would at toughness 4th line 10--13 mins..He can fight some upside ? 1 yr X 1.1 million show me more?
  15. I sure hope Canucks don't trade Hoglander 22--5'10-180lbs very fast and gritty I could be Hoglander get points if in top 6 in the future. Hoglander 2023-24 - 3rd/ 4th line --12--14 mins -- GP-75 - G 15- PTS 35 Podkolzin 6'1--205 - plays big and good 200 foot game maybe more PK? 3rd line - Gp 75 -G 18 - PTS 39 --(13--14 mins) Winges - 1. Kuzmenko --Boeser -- Mikheyev - Garland - Podkolzin -- Beavillier - Hoglander - Joshua - Di Giuseppe - Studnika Centre -- 1. Petey --2. Miller -3. Blueger --4. Aman - 5.Dries
  16. Josh Bloom 20 June 8th --6'2--190lbs - LW - This young prospect has some decent talent. I like the upside and he has size, develop in Abby as 20 yr old..I am excited about Bloom.
  17. Right before the free agent market opened on July 1st, it was reported that the San Jose Sharks and Vancouver Canucks had recently discussed a trade that would send defenseman Tyler Myers to the Bay Area. During their podcast, ’Canucks Central’, Dan Riccio and Sat Shah confirmed the deal would have been a one-for-one swap for winger Kevin Labanc. It makes sense for both teams, as Myers has fallen out of favor in Vancouver, and the team mostly addressed its defensive core via free agency. From the Sharks’ perspective, the team is widely expected to move defenseman Erik Karlsson before the offseason concludes, and Myers would fill that hole left on their right side. One of the major holdups in any Myers deal is the $5MM bonus he is due on September 1st of this year. At the beginning of last season, there were reports that a deal that would have sent Myers to the Ottawa Senators fell through due to the bonus due to Myers. Unfortunately for interested parties, David Quadrelli of Nation HQ reports that the Canucks are unable to pay the bonus early, as the league has deemed it a salary cap circumvention. I would not want Labanc 27--5'11--1 yr X 4.7 million-- He is a bottom 6 winger we don't need more wingers. So bonus can't be paid early, so guess that holds up any deals until Sept 1.. Myers is Valuable can b moved up with injuries and could be a great trade chip at trade deadline for playoff team. Myers could be valuable playing #4 or #5 spot..Played against others teams best forward here in Vancouver. Myers is a decent defenceman if not over played - 19--21 min guy..
  18. Yes Bastion Square lots of night life, Darcy's younger crowd, Bart&Banker, Irish times live bands ,great food and live bands, classy, good vibe
  19. Why would Vancouver trade 1st rounder -- 2nd rounder - 3rd rounder -- Myers 1 yr remaining- Garland ? BIG NO NO Return Sandheim 27 --8 yrs X 6.2 million--- Laughton 3 yrs X 3 million????? Big Pass Adding 11 million in salary -- Myers is off the books next season???? We have to sign Hronek to 7 yrs X 6.4 million -No room for # 3 D man making 6.2 million
  20. Aatu Raty 20-6'2 C not at prospect camp? He should stand out if he was there??
  21. I agree and I feel Raty 6'2 skilled young guy will eventually be a #2 C by time he's 23 years old. Raty is still only 20 years old.
  22. Great post I agree 100% with your post.. We all know how hard it is to find or even trade for a top RD man.. Willander should be a #2 D man maybe even a 1B... He has great skill, skating, edge work, defensive and offensive together..Bring on size 6'1 should play at 200--205 weight..I was so excited with pick Willander.. I wanted #1 Danielson 6'1 C WHL- #2 Willander. so excited we got Willander he will be a stud RD-6'1 to play with Vancouver in 2--3 years..I say he plays in NHL at 20 years old as #4 guy...
  23. I don't Irwin will be #6 or #7. -- Wolanin LD - Juulsen RD -Briesbois LD - Johanssen RD-- Hirose LD - McWard RD - Woo RD Rathbone LD might be moved if he isn't a regular - He has to clear waivers

  25. yeah he will be in battle with Wolanin - Juulsen -- Brisebois -- Hirose-- Johanssen--Irwin --McWard for #6--7 spot Good to have Irwin in AHL show young prospect w
