You look at almost any team and they have a guy like MacEwen 6'3, 210 and will stand up for teammates.. Look at incident when Jets went after Hoglander one example?? Who went after the Jets player next game big Zack?? My point nobody went after the Jets player that night??? MacEwen was not playing that night ? So we need Zack on 4th line...

MacEwen 6'3 very aggressive much needed on this team..No question Big Mac 6'3, 210 can fight with the big boys will be the #12th forward spot...We need Zack heavy on forecheck and be there for teams trying to intimidate the young smaller Canucks.....

I would trade or take that money and sign younger player... AT some point you have to make tough decisions? There will be big contracts with other players soon enough... I think Motte should play on 3rd line some nights.. I like Motte's game better the Pearson right now...Motte is much faster and given ice time comparisons ... Motte 4th line PK avg 14-15 minss 24 GP-- 6 G -- 4th line sometimes 3rd line with injuries -- Would be nice to see how Motte does playing with more talented players.. Pearson 2nd line some PP -- 51 GP --- 11 G

Come on not 8 years?? 2021 drafted player are 18 ? 2020 -19 yrs old 2019 -- 20 years old Podkolzin, Hoglander awesome make 12 and 13 -- We now have 13 NHL players in previous 5 yrs and so many close, Gadjovich, Lockwood, Dipietro, Woo..more coming, very exciting.. I think we will see a new player in OEL this season. OEL is 30 yrs old,6'2, 200 lbs will play 21-24 mins PK,PP and play very well..
