  1. Human beings by nature are more vocal in their dislikes than their likes. I think the majority of people who are positive likely don't post a whole lot because they are content.
  2. I have a really hard time thinking Eriksson will just decline $18 million just like that and, if he does, he's an idiot in my opinion. lol I don't think that's going to be all Benning has to do.
  3. I like the ones that claim we didn't land on the moon because of the lack of stars in the photos. Nevermind the fact that the stars were too dim to be picked up by the photography back then.
  4. Sending them to Utica might be the only way. A buyout for Schaller for example would still give us a caphit of almost 1.5mil. I don't think teams needing to reach the cap floor will have trouble reaching the cap floor this year given how many teams need to shed cap.
  5. Haha but but.... haven't you heard the Earth is a giant hexagon? It's the matrix man the matrix!
  6. To be honest, it only really hurts once we become a team close to the cap again. We also have a number of contracts that end before we need to sign Hughes and Pettersson such as Baertschi, Sutter, Spooner, and Edler. It sucks that we have to take that blow in general, but it's at least the right time to have to take it.
  7. You should get that checked out. Your axis might be tilted on it's side.
  8. Haha to be fair, I'm usually looking at music production videos and stuff like that on youtube. I tend to stick with the backroads a bit. It's a little less dangerous in those parts.
  9. Pretty much. lol Feels like I'm in a youtube comments section suddenly.
  10. Where did you read that Pluto's been closer to the sun than Venus? Can you provide proof of this? It can get closer than Nepture, but Venus seemed extremely far fetched.
  11. The problem with Pluto being a planet is that, if Pluto is a planet, then we likely have 100's, possibly 1000's of planets orbiting the sun. Pluto is considered to be of the same materials of the other objects in the Kuiper Belt; therefore, it is classified as such. Not only that, but if Pluto is to be classified as a planet, I could argue that it shouldn't be the 9th planet but the 10th planet. Ceres is a round dwarf planet in the asteroid belt not that much smaller than Pluto.
  12. It's not about elliptical orbit. It's about the size of the planet that makes it classified as a "dwarf planet". Technically all planets have elliptical orbits due to gravity. They aren't circular. Much like how earth isn't a perfect sphere also due to gravity.
  13. Well, clearly you found a different page than I did. No matter, it's a verb then too obviously.
  14. Weird, was there a 2nd page on dictionary.com because it only showed me a noun and an adjective.
  15. This is why English is a terrible language. I've literally gone through 3 dictionaries online and none of them had panic as a verb. I get what you are saying and I'm not going to say you're wrong, but for some reason the dictionaries don't see it as a verb, at least the ones I checked.
  16. That's an adjective. lol (I edited my post above and added it)
  17. Wow, all this conversation's really telling me is how bad of a language English is. Panic is a noun. Panicked or panicking is the verb. It is also an adjective, which is what I think was the intent of use here.
  18. Wouldn't it be nice if it were that easy. lol
  19. If that does end up being the case, hopefully anything that happens can be at least mitigated by your young core. I wouldn't wish the down times Buffalo's had over the past 10+ years on any team.
  20. I wish I could move to Norway or some place like that. Maybe when I finish my computer science degree.
  21. Personally, I don't think McLean's necessarily done more than Luongo. I kind of view them as equals for us since they both made it to the finals. However, considering that, I do agree with him it would be a slap in the face for McLean.
  22. Yeah, I think either you retire the 1st player to have worn a number that deserves being retired or don't retire it at all. For example, Montreal retired Plante's number 1. They did it right given it's a common number to wear. The only time I would retire number 1 for us at this point would be if the goalie won us multiple stanley cups or something in my opinion. Otherwise, it gets controversial.
  23. Simple: save money. Move an unhappy player on. Also, a buyout would be expensive.
