Got it on, I'm suddenly a soccer fan (between the Whitecaps and this).

Please don't mess anything up Edmonton. Yes be happy but don't run onto the field. 

It's nuts out there. A couple I know, one of which is a carpenter while the other works with individuals with disabilities, moved up to Dawson because it's so bad here in Nanaimo. By the time they got to look at something it'd be sold. 

Another couple, one of which is a red seal electrician while the other does reception or something for the RCMP, brought their buying price up to 800k in Nanaimo because there's less competition for those houses. Most people don't have that kind of financial range though. 

My youngest sibling, at almost 23, will be a red seal electrician soon and I'm skeptical of his ability to get into the market. I just don't understand how prices can go up, and up, and up while wages stagnate. It ain't the average Canadian who's able to afford property nowadays that's for sure. 

I'm rooting for you though, for what it's worth.

how is it desperate? I have no stake in it at all, I just don't see the evidence to call the guy a scumbag or line jumper when thats not a fact in any of the stories. Maybe you have more info. 

@Jimmy McGillI see what you're saying. I don't condone the cancelling of this dude for doing his job as CEO. He's looking after the business, and he saw this as a way to 'benefit' his membership. The optics of it is bad - there's no denying that. However, calling him a scumbag is an oversimplification I think of the situation.

that's all I'm trying to say here. I don't like the quick rush to condemn people these days, particularly on media stories that are often really misleading in the headlines.

Yeah, being in Toronto didn't do Corrado any favours at all

So much happened this game. One of the absolute best breakout plays I've ever seen led to a Bieksa breakaway goal. Then he fought Marleau. D. Sedin popping right up after a dirty hit. Eager getting flashed in the penalty box. Eager losing his mind. Canucks dummying the Sharks for the entire second and third period. Bigtime Sedinery ends in a goal by Aaron Rome.
