I think it is totally fine to disagree with Benning's strategy, but once Benning's strategy is understood, it should make sense why he's going to try and put together the team that gives him the best change of winning on game day, even if that means (1) getting bounced early in the playoffs, and (2) drafting in the middle of the first round.
