      Hordichuk was apparently a bit of a weirdo. He would take paying fans on 'tours' of the Canucks' dressing room. Apparently one day he took one of these 'tour groups' to Luongo's condo and knocked on the door.

      It was my first training camp and we are all in the locker room before an exhibition game. Darcy Hordichuck is like the only one talking and he's telling jokes and stuff and laughing. I could tell Lu was getting annoyed but he didn't say anything for a good 20 min. He finally had enough and stood up in front of the team and said: Don't worry boys this is gonna be Darcys last game with us. Next day he was traded....

      I don't think you understand what virtue signalling is. By your definition, you are also virtue signalling. 

       

      When did calling people out become virtue signalling? Isn't this just being honest? My opinion is that Leipsic seems like a douchebag. What virtues am I exactly trying to 'signal' here? Am I not allowed to call anyone out because you might get offended by it? Are you so soft that you find calling people out for talking $&!# "gross"? 

       

      Nothing Leipsic said offended me as a person. That doesn't mean I am banned from being allowed to have an opinion on him.

      So much happened this game. One of the absolute best breakout plays I've ever seen led to a Bieksa breakaway goal. Then he fought Marleau. D. Sedin popping right up after a dirty hit. Eager getting flashed in the penalty box. Eager losing his mind. Canucks dummying the Sharks for the entire second and third period. Bigtime Sedinery ends in a goal by Aaron Rome.

      The fact that he stayed in Vancouver when I'm sure he could have gone back to LA or elsewhere is a positive sign. Certainly not a guarantee, but IMO this shows that he is giving the city a shot... even though he probably can't take full advantage of it right now.

    Would you pull an Astros? You get to keep the Cup but the whole hockey world now despises Petey and Hughes like they do with Bregman/Altuve.

     

    I don't think it would be worth it but its an interesting thought exercise.

     

    Did the Pats face this much vitriol? I wasn't following back then but wasn't their cheating less controversial? Even some youngsters unrelated to the cheating on the Astros are getting some abuse thrown at them.
