  1. Doesn't mean the Canucks are totally walking away from Hutton. They did the same thing last summer with Derrick Pouliot so that when he doesn't receive the QO, they can renegotiate a lower cap number. However, sounds like JB and management might have already parted ways with him.
  2. He would be a sneaky good add for our top six. Wonder what his asking price is. We only have 17 mil and still have to sign Boeser and rest of RFA's plus a few dman. Don't think we have enough cap space unless we move bodies out.
  3. Thats disappointing. Was hoping he would sign to a cheap deal. Really hope something gets figured out because he brought a lot to the table that noen of our Dmen had.
  4. His name is officially John, but for whatever reason he goes by Jack.
  5. Benning said in post media scrum that everyone in the draft class will be at development camp but Podkolzin. Said they would need to obtain through the NHL to come to an agreement his KHL club and their league to allow him to come but said that they wouldn't be able to get the paper work done in time.
  6. Aidan McDonough 6'2'' 201lbs Shoots: Left Born: Milton, MA / November 6,1999
  7. John (Jack) Malone 6'1'' 192 lbs Shoots: Right Born: Madison, NJ / October 13, 2000 Committed to the University of Cornell next season.
  8. Karel Plasek 5'11" 154lbs Shoots: Left Born: Prerov, Czech Republic / July 28, 2000 He is actually Karel Plasek Jr. His father also named Karel Plasek born in 1973....so don't be afraid when you see an older man when you search up his name haha
  9. Arthurs Silovs 6'4'' 203 lbs Shoots: Left Born: Riga, Latvia / March 22, 2001 https://thehockeynews.com/news/article/ten-players-who-helped-their-draft-stock-at-the-u-18-world-championship
  10. LOL the George Takei gif is the best with the temperature of that thread
  11. Name pronounced as FOH-TE
  12. Don't Focht with Carson Focht
  13. Early 4th for a late 4th and late 5th in return. Good deal. Judd brackett trying to get more picks to try and hit on more late rounders.
  14. Likely replaces the likes of Reid Boucher and perhaps gives Gaudette a suitable playmaking winger to work with in Utica. I like this deal too because Perron had a pretty good year for the Barracuda, so if injuries occur, we have some offensive punch we can call up.
  15. SCOUTING RELik Assets: Is a very cerebral player who uses his vision, passing skills and strong hockey IQ to create offense. Can be a major asset on special teams, too. Flaws: Is rather thin and lacks bulk, so he could struggle to produce offense at the NHL level. Therefore, he must get significantly stronger. Career Potential: Diminutive, highly creative playmaker with some upside.
  16. I really like JT Miller. So versatile, can play every position, and can move up the lineup and move down with ease and play whatever role you need. Brings physicality, plays along the edge like Roussel, but super reliable in all three zones. Showed he can play with talented players like Stamkos and Kucherov, but also grind it out with Killorn and Cirelli. Really excited to add him to the mix.
  17. CDC overvaluing that conditional 1st round pick and treating as if JT Miller is some mediocre guy. He is a legitimate top six forward. You have to give quality to get quality. Somehow this fanbase is scare to be good. You have to be bold, sometimes you have to make deals that make you uncomfortable at first, but people will soon realize how essential JT Miller will be to this team. He is so versatile and plays with an edge and at a bargain of a contract. Can play wing and centre which could help alleviate Petey or Bo on the wings. Let the blood simmer a bit before you post. Absolutely thrilled adding JT to our group.
