  2. I can't with considerations to the championship tournament as well as real life stuff. You know I'd love to, though.

  4. Is it valid to like a piece of art/music/etc and hold that it is objectively bad art/music/etc?

The problem with subjective is that it runs the gamut. For example some dude in Toronto wanted to guillotine some mice in the name of "art". SPCA and public outcry stopped it.

I think there's limits to "art".

But we all have our guilty pleasures. As long as no one gets hurt.

       Reminded me of this.

  5. 1. I have black friends; can I say unfair things about their race? That you have trans family members means nothing when you issue demeaning statements like that to diminish the identity of someone with gender dysphoria. A big part of my personal philosophy on life is that individuals deserve to define themselves; and when you say something like that, you're attacking their identity in a way that completely denies it. It's hate. 2. ok 3. I disagree. There are only a few posters on here who can actually tangle with me tbh. You don't realize the gigantism of my intellect.
  6. You left a hateful post in another thread a few days ago describing transgender women as 'men in dresses.' You hate. e: also, I'd love to hear your interpretations of Freud and Marx. Are they just names to you, or do you understand something about their thought? Why do you think I like them?
  7. Language is the basis for directed thought. When something tells us how to speak, it is trying to influence how we think. no agenda, by the way- I'm just a paranoid person with unique beliefs around language and expression. I really do think it's a concern, as we move deeper into the current century, how our minds will develop in their relationship to our technology. did I read the article? only some of it, so you've got me there. it does not sound as bad the way you put it, but I still have reservations. What do you think of things like Grammarly?
