  1. neat- I was actually considering becoming an Occupational Health & Safety Officer at one point and was prospecting BCIT. I admit to cheating, but I wouldn't cheat at the post-secondary level and especially not in courses to do with health and safety. That crosses the line for me.
  2. I had formerly dropped out and my same-age peers had already graduated by the time I was taking the class. Two months before taking it, I had a 10th grade education (being generous). I went back to school with the intention of actually participating in study, but I was 18y/o or something likewise stupid and needed 2yrs of credits to earn my diploma. I quickly found that I was not willing to spend so much time working toward high school educational attainment during a period in my life when I should have been either in university or starting my working life. My parents were also in the process of losing our home and we had ~6 months to relocate. There were also other complications around then which would have made it difficult or impossible to remain in school for lengthy amounts of time. Time was a scarce resource in my mind, and so I just kinda gunned through it as quickly as I could, figuring it was the best way to protect my interests and open up channels and opportunities for me such as employment prospects. I had a slow start to life and felt 'catching up' would be imperative to any chance of success in it. I knew I was throwing something away by not trying to comprehend the material (especially as I was flirting with the idea of going to post-secondary to major in a science), but I was also aware that Chem 12 would not be my last opportunity for learning it. There are plenty of resources available online for learning high school chemistry, and I thought I could just become something of an autodidact if I ever wanted to grasp it on a day I felt was better suited for gaining knowledge. And I am starting post-secondary in May, albeit in an arts program, lol. What did you teach at BCIT?
  3. granted it was morally dubious
  4. it earned me credits for graduation
  5. it was an online course and all the tests/exams rehashed old questions from prior provincial exams i found a site that archived most of the exams including the correct answers to each question i just ctrl+f'd the questions for which i needed answers so it was super simple
  6. i cheated big time in high school got like a 92 in chem 12 and know nothing about chemistry

@Type R - I'm in the camp of taking the BPA. If there are equally talented players, then you take the player that fits organizational need.

As such, I'd rank the top 5 in this years draft as this: Dahlin > Zadina > Svechnikov > Hughes > Boqvist. Wahlstrom, Bouchard, and Tkachuk are all in that #6 spot for me.

He'll flop because that seems typical of this franchise. He won't get adequate ice time because "he hasn't earned it", then play on the bottom pairing getting 9 minutes a night, otherwise in the press box.

I have my eyes set on Boqvist, though I have a feeling he'll go at #4, so unless we're dead last, I'm more set on Bouchard. Hoping for Dahlin is really just too much for me to hope for.
