  1. ^ i got those from mma.com not sure if they found their way on sherdog too. did you see GSP's video interview on sherdog? haha sherdog: what is your plan to beat bj gsp: well i think i will jump into guard and then try for a flying heel hook haha
  2. I think many of those sherdog guys are stealing it from mixedmartialarts.com http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/?go=forum....ge=1&pc=177 and the other way around too.
  3. now 3... *gets gitty* ooh... this is our stanley cup final game fellas! lets be honest.. the canucks arent lookin good at the moment..
  4. the weird thing about fedor is that he doesnt make a face when he punches like every other person on the planet. its like the man is sleep fighting.
  5. kaaang damn arlovski was winning the fight and then he thought he would go in for the hollywood kung fu kick. First time ive seen a guy get knocked out in mid air and then land on his head. I thought he just slipped and fell on his head at first.
  6. sorry i left to get a bite to eat from subway hehe. lil nog is on right now on hdnet. hurry pop it on! k im out folks! hope its a good night of fights. Go arlovski!
  7. in a way it shows a weakness in BJ. If he thinks he needs to get GSP off his game mentally to win, thats not saying much for him. If he thinks he is the better fighter, he should go into the match with a mentally strong GSP against a mentally strong BJ. When i see fighters using the mental game, it says to me that they are afraid of the opponent and need to get them off their game so they dont get beat. If i ever saw GSP do that to someone else I would think the same. That he fears his opponent and is trying anything he can to win. Because in a conference call BJ started making fun of GSP's psychologist. He said you needed a psychologist huh Georges? huh georges? I thought that was pretty lame because GSP's cousin had died and his dad was sick and BJ trying to make fun of that by him seeing a psycologist shows poor sportsmanship. -and the current preliminary Affliction fight sucks at the moment. I think im going to wait 45 minutes so i can see lil nog and jay heiron compete..
  8. Yeah but i think its wrong for BJ to call out GSP for taking roids when anyone could be taking it. I mean what if GSP said BJ is taking roids, and then BJ said GSP is taking roids. And then Jon Fitch fights Kos and Kos says no fair Jon is taking roids, and Jon says i dont think so because Kos is taking roids. I think if you dont have conclusive evidence it just make you look like a moron throwing that out. BJ is trying to get himself to believe that he lost the first match because GSP was on drugs and not that fact that BJ is fat and out of shape and was huffing and puffing in round 2.
  9. oh by the way if you have HDNET you can watch the preliminary fights now starting at 4. Ive got and am going to watch it now. happy trails people!
  10. GSP walks around at 185 normally. He said now its at about 189. He doesnt go above that. Hes always at training weight. Earlier in his career he walked around at 180. Jon Fitch walks around at 205 so does Kos. But the thing is what if everyone took steroids? If we dont have proof we dont know. Maybe BJ takes steroids too right? Thats why his punches are harder. And theres been talks he takes weed. maybe hes high here when he was younger or drunk?
  11. today is Affliction 2 : Day of Reckoning just though id throw this out there for the casual mma fan that only watches UFC. PPV matches * WAMMA Heavyweight Championship bout: Flag of Russia Fedor Emelianenko (Champ)[7] vs. Flag of Belarus Andrei Arlovski (#2)[7] * Heavyweight bout: Flag of the United States Josh Barnett (#3)[7] vs. Flag of the Netherlands Gilbert Yvel * Light Heavyweight bout: Flag of Brazil Renato Sobral (#15)[7] vs. Flag of Cameroon Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou * Middleweight bout: Flag of the United States Matt Lindland (#6)[7] vs. Flag of Brazil Vitor Belfort * Heavyweight bout: Flag of the United States Paul Buentello vs. Flag of Russia Kirill Sidelnikov * Lightweight bout: Flag of the United States Dan Lauzon vs. Flag of the United States Bobby Green [edit] HDNet matches * Light Heavyweight bout: Flag of Belarus Vladimir Matyushenko (#13)[7] vs. Flag of Brazil Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (#12)[7] * Welterweight bout: Flag of the United States Jay Hieron (#13)[7] vs. Flag of the United States Jason High * Featherweight bout: Flag of the United States Bao Quach vs. Flag of the United States LC Davis * Featherweight bout: Flag of the United States Albert Rios vs. Flag of Mexico Antonio Duarte * Welterweight bout: Flag of the United States Brett Cooper vs. Flag of the United States Patrick Speight I would. Hes not really a big guy. Hes only 5'10 180 pounds. If you go to a local gym you will see lots of guys cut up as him. Tons of guys in the NHL, NFL other sports are much much bigger than him. If Georges was 6'2 250 pounds of muscle then yeah, but hes too small to seem like he is on roids. Plus he wins fights with technique. If he had crazy KO power he should have knocked out Jon Fitch a lot earlier than it did end. BJ is a chubby guy. Compared to him the Pillsbury Doughboy looks like hes taking steroids.
  12. Yeah its unnecessary. The fight sells itself. When (lets hope heh) BJ loses hes going to look like a whiner. He lives up to his name Baby J.
  13. BJ now saying GSP takes steroids and that his trainer should go F himself. stay classy bj. edit: source http://mmamania.com/2009/01/24/ufc-quick-q...using-steroids/
  14. http://assets.espn.go.com/livenow/weighin.html affliction weighs in right now folks
  15. Yeah its pretty cool. 2 different seasons. One guy training in the summer, one guy training in the winter. One dude is humble the other is cocky. With that said I hope Georges beats him down. I hope BJ gasses and then GSP beats the living crap out of him.
  16. zing! haha whats Chuck's plan going to be against Shogun? oh right, the same plan hes ever had. circle... circle..... circle.... punch! circle... circle..... circle.... punch! circle... circle..... circle.... punch!
  17. Shogun vs Liddell in Montreal. Right after the fight Dana asked Shogun. Pretty bizarre...
  18. Affliction picked a bad day and time to hold a conference call.
  19. kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang
  20. I think the dude just wanted to sound hardcore. Its like in Canucks talk when someone says ahh Luongo should have stopped that. and someone says "i'd like to see you stop a shot going 100km/hr"
  21. yup no actually you are right after checking out the video again. He did have the guillotine in deep but I think Denis should have anticipated that move. Whenever guys go in for the shot, the other guy will establish take down defence posture and go for the guillotine. I mean Denis is a black belt here. but yeah when i first saw it, it looked like he didnt have the arm fully in, it looked like it was only half, but after checking it out again on mmatko it was in deep. keyboard warrior? you post on sherdog huh? or lurk there. they use that word too much when debating mma. Did you have anything to say about today's UFC as well or you just wanted to sound hardcore in a post?
  22. http://www.mmatko.com/ shogun rua vs mark coleman got a fight of the night bonus from dana... errr yea...
  23. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh kaaaaaaaaaaaaaangggggggggggggggggggg what the hell!!!!!!! how did he gas out after only 1 round? hes been training with gsp for a year now. why did he tap to a basic choke when the choke hadn't been fully applied yet? beaten by a can.... ahhhhhhh.. and i was hoping he would rep canada but he brought just the Korean flag that was very dissapointing. and coleman vs rua... wow.. were they fighting underwater? both of them were moving so slow and couldnt do anything. It was like we were watching the fight in slowmotion. I thought it was a quick stoppage. Coleman got dropped but seriously there was 30 more seconds. Coleman was just going to hold on to shoguns leg while shogun took a nap. People are seriously questioning fighters from Pride. They all seem to gas out in a round or 2. I think its because they've never had to outwrestle their opponent. They were always use to a Kickboxing style match Japanese MMA had. And that last fight Hendo vs Franklin should have been a 5 rounder. 3 round main events prove nothing. Franklin was coming on strong and hendo seems to be gassing but it was too late. If it went longer I think Franklin would have won. But i saw it 2-1 henderson too but nothing special. No one was really rocked and the mistaken headbut and then finger in eye seems to ruin the fight a bit. Did i hear that right? Rampage jackson vs Keith Jardine? So Rampage's big win over Wanderlei gets him a match with the guy that Wanderlei just beat? Did rampage just go up or down the ladder with that Wanderlei win?? Well lets hope next weeks Fedor vs Arlovski card is good because UFC 93 sucked the big one. Coleman vs Shogun was too hilarious. It felt like they were sleep fighting. I think Shogun should be put on the undercard next fight because his last 2 fights have been pure suckage.
