Leafs cant put together 20mins of hockey let alone 60mins. Too bad the Lightning were broken and injured with the amount of hockey they've played.

Doubt Woo will get a look at the NHL if he didnt get one this season. Maybe if we run into injuries or are out of the playoff picture, but Johansson and whoever they sign in UFA would likely fill the right side ahead of Woo i.e. Luke Schenn or other.

They basically can't retain because they added money. They have boxed themselves into a corner. They will have to pay picks, buyouts, and/or add in Quinn or Elias in a sweetener deal it's that bad. -

Also Yzerman made his decision, they could still make the playoffs but if they don't they have a boatload of picks for this draft. Wings are already deeper and better than the Canucks and its not even funny. Should have just picked up a meddling UFA RH defenseman in the offseason, keep the Islanders pick and develop someone for crying out loud!

Some of the best moves are the ones not made or ones that were considered minor at the TDL. Teams have won not trading the kitchen sink at the TDL. How many teams ultimately regretted their deadline and UFA deals.

Why they stick to their plan, something any Canuck fan could only dream of. They dont pay assets for rentals for the most part. They are good and have their full allotment of picks. Meanwhile another team out east has almost no picks and hasnt got past the first round. While I agree, they need a difference maker to complement their forward group but if its not available to be done its not available
