    On this day in 1969, One Hit Wonders Steam started a two week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with 'Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye'. The song was actually recorded by Gary De Carlo, who intended it to be the "B" side of his first single. Gary didn't like the song and when record executives wanted to issue it as the "A" side, he insisted it be released under an assumed name.

      Keep talking like that Mr. Quacks and you might be looking at a ban yourself... I don't think it's fair to say that this team has performed negatively over the last 10 years. We had that amazing run in the Covid year where we probably win the Cup if we get a couple of bounces our way. Also 3 years in a row where we had a Calder Trophy winning player... how many teams can claim that? If you don't like our team then you can go elsewhere IMO...

      What a relief. I don't know if I could handle reading any more negative posts from that guy. People who hate our team should not be allowed to post on CANUCKS.com. Everyone knows we'd be at the top of the league right now if it wasn't for injuries, Demko being off his game, refs conspiring against us, Bettman hating Canadian teams, Gillis, etc. Maybe he should go take his shtick to HFB***ds with all the other haters.

    Did an analysis on who I think should've won the Selke last year (2015-16). Interesting results, as always. I always find my results deviate quite a bit from who actually wins.

     

    1st - P. Bergeron

    2nd - J. Thornton

    3rd - J. Pavelski

    4th - B. Marchand

    5th - A. Kopitar

    6th - M. Stone

    7th - J. Toews

     

    I tested on 35 players, but these are just the top 7.

    benning changes his mind every couple of months. i remember when he talked about teams in cap trouble and how he could take advantage of that, but didn't get teravainen/bickell and is now saying he wouldn't take on a contract like datsyuk's because they want to be competitive lol.
