    Maybe trading schneider is the best option. Might get us a good prospect + a top 10 draft pick. People need to remember that Eddie Lack is coming up and will be Number one Goaltender especially if mentored by Luongo like Schneider.

      Okay, regardless of what was said, Luongo has failed miserably in clutch games over the years. Schneider should get at least a few playoffs since he is in his peak right now while Luongo is only going to go downhill. Gillis has proven he can resign players so I wouldn't doubt Schneider getting resigned later on. Trading Schneider only makes sense in a rebuild scenario.

      You seem to think another team will give this team their draft picks for Luongo as suggested by your earlier posts. The only way Luongo's contract gets dumped is if he gets exchanged for another garbage contract but probably of shorter length. For example, a garbage contract like David Booth's or Keith Ballard's. Too bad, they are on the Canucks though.

      It only makes sense if the team goes into a full rebuild. What gives you the idea that Gillis can get draft picks for Luongo? The team will have to take on salary probably in the form of a bad contract.

      Luongo has proven time and again, he is not a clutch goaltender. Also, Luongo's contract is going to bite this team in the a$$ down the road unless he retires early.

      I blame AV for overusing Schneider in unimportant regular season games to the point where he is injured. Luongo is just being Luongo, his usual unclutch playoff self.
