  1. @lethunder has chosen to have a first class vacation with the commission he has made from our signings. You're welcome!
  2. Rights for Colin White is available for maybe an unwanted prospect or conditional 4th
  3. Vancouver is shopping Connor Zary and 2024 1sts amongst other pieces for NHL upgrades. We are taking calls for our 2023 1st as well.
  4. Reminder of the odds going into tonight!
  5. Boy no wonder @lethunder is heading on a vacation already
  6. Honestly didn't even know @Relyt Krets was an agent lol
  7. In other words, Emilie has already been rejected. Cammi is still in the running.
  8. Can't believe the best pick of 2012 fell this far!
  9. The actual balance of players remaining is actually quite impressive. I guess it depends on the quality of the remaining players.
  10. I think the whole Kane to NYR saga was a distraction to the team. They should've never bothered after they made the Tarasenko trade. The fact that Kane was so indecisive dragging the whole thing out, then NYR needing to perform cap gymnastics to even acquire him was all unnecessary for them.
  11. Anyone interested in the following RFAs, let me know Colin White Jakub Zboril Jachym Kondelik Curtis Douglas
  12. Its hard to debate how much he "sucks" unless it actually happens and we see him play. I'm just going off our viewing of him when we last saw him and his skating looked fine to keep up for someone his size and he played a physical game and would step up to defend teammates when called upon. He's played 20+ minutes a night in a men's league since. At the end of the day, this will be a never ending debate, so I don't want to go on and on about it, but if the Canucks do bring him in, I'll be one of the ones that will be happy about it.
  13. But I'm not suggesting another 3-4 million type signing. It's under 2 million. He can play at worst bottom pairing at the NHL level. If he wants to "quit" against, then he's off the books. He's big, can skate well and play physical which is already more than can be said about Pouliot and Clendenning in a bottom pair role. It's a minor risk, but could also be a major reward. Worst case is that because of his attributes, it wouldn't be difficult to trade him if need be as size is a commodity in the league.
  14. Added bonus of Akira Schmid becoming a breakout star for you!
  15. I prefer to be the lube that keeps this from being a painful experience
  16. Vancouver Canucks select Taylor Hall
  17. Someone had to start the clock, should be making a decision soon (I hope)!
