  1. If the deal is centered around LE, Baer and Stecher for PK (retained to match LE) and Simmonds, then I'll consider that. Of course we would have to add a prospect or two to make it worthwhile for them. Although I wouldn't do this if the handshake agreement with LE that you are guaranteeing is true.
  2. I'm against trading Boeser, but if need be, then I'm still looking at Ristolainen.
  3. Maybe if he relished a hot dog like Kessel then he would have more success in the league.
  4. I apologize for the way my post may have sounded. I was just trying to prevent the whiners that are going to complain about LE being on the "top line". I absolutely appreciate all the work you put into the GDTs.
  5. Honestly if this trade was the other way around, some of the fanbase here would spin it around like this.
  6. The last few years, they've also amassed a large amount of picks continuing my point that they are drafting by volume and hoping to hit on a few rather than actually making their picks count. We will see how many of them actually pan out. Their previous record doesn't leave a whole lot of confidence. Development is just as important as making the picks.
  7. http://mayorsmanor.com/2013/05/tyler-toffoli-and-his-nsfw-nickname/ Interesting nickname he had in LA and was given to him by Linden Vey. Vey, Pearson, and Toffoli were all apparently part of a hot line back in their AHL glory days. Funny how we have acquired all of them.
  8. I hope people realize that those aren't necessarily the lineups in the OP. I usually wait to see what Vintage posts as lineups in practice and get a better idea of what to expect.
  9. On the other hand, teams might be filling up their spots and if the asking price is too high, then the rest of the teams balk on Kreider and he walks for nothing. Risky game to play to just sit back and wait.
  10. Under Bergevin's watch, they haven't produced a whole lot from the draft. Galchenyuk was probably the most prominent name. A couple of depth guys in De La Rose, Lekhonen (looks decent). They drafted Sergachev and then traded him (amongst many other 1st round trades/duds). Mete and Kotkaniemi look okay. Romanov might be decent. They probably need all of these picks to draft by numbers and hope they get lucky.
  11. Probably didn't want the Jordie Benn egg on his face again. If Scandella really wants to play in Montreal, they will sign him in the offseason.
  12. I think MacEwen being sent down is more of a numbers game with Motte being close to returning. Can't see us adding another forward. Defense maybe, Dillon possibly at the right price.
  13. No love for DiPietro? Focht seems very underrated, but he could potentially be more than 3 years out before cracking the team.
  14. Ferland might be done. Hopefully LE retires after his bonus. Baertschi will likely be bought out. Surely we will explore moving Sutter in the offseason (can't see us trading him if we are carrying him into next season) and I'm fine even if it's a cap retained trade as long as that gives us added value in the return (he's as much of a cap dump as JT Miller was). I think Roussel's time might be up. I find it interesting that he hasn't been on the PK much when he has been previously. I think he's a player that still has value in the league, so we could potentially trade his entire cap hit and still net a decent return. We have players like MacEwen/Lind/long shot Hoglander too that could potentially take his spot especially if he doesn't have a role on the PK.
