  1. so you would just sit in the car and wait for the gang to smash your windows and drag you out if you are just by yourself? It was pretty obvious that the gang was looking for trouble and they deliberately bump into the SUV so they can extort money from the driver. It was almost human nature for someone to try to get away from the scene when you feel your life is threaten by thugs with or without kids in your car.
  2. err I am suggesting him to report hockyspecialist for trolling? (which btw you should), not the other way around?
  3. this is probably the point DeNiro would hit the report button.
  4. and this is probably the point where I realize that I am probably talking with either a ten year old kid or an adult with a ten year old kid's iq. a trade like that would be possible in NHL13. Hey if we successfully flipped for that 6th, we can probably continue to flip until we get to the first overall right? I am out.
  5. lol they offer a high pick which Gillis would have pick the same player anyway.. a mid tier prospect or a late round draft does not worth facing Schneider within the division for a foreseeable future. This is logic and it seems the delusional one is you, not DeNiro
  6. i guess that's how you roll. Your judgement on sport players changes annually. That actually explains everything. or you are just an idiot who picks stats that benefit your ridiculous argument without the ability to look at the big picture. in a 82 game season which was 2009-2010, his sv% was 0.907. If I apply your standard that you applied on Luongo, he's not an elite goalie because half of his playoff games were bad in his career. No, dont reply to me. I don't wnat to see anymore dumb crap coming out of you.
  7. your opinion is wrong.. and you should at least understand the sport you are watching before you start to aggressively voice your opinion.
  8. lol. 8 goals in 7 games and you are trying to tell people that the team should have win the series in less than 7 games if it wasn't for Luongo... amazing logic bro. Keep this attitude up in real life too some people in vancouver are just out of their minds sometimes...
  9. you still haven't answer how important do you think game 5 was? keep dodging the question. You almost reach to the point where i am convince i can't have any meaningful and logical conversion with you.
  10. and i just told you that if the team had lost game 1 and 2 in the SCF, then suddenly those games will matter more than the victories we had according to your logic. That comes back to my point where your logic shows that only games that we lose would matter, and the game we 've won would just be another game. game 5 was a pretty important game that matters, so does game 1 and 2.. The fact is each game in the playoff are equally as important. The fact that you can't understand this makes you a bitter fans who is always angry at our star players because believe it or not, teams would lose from time to time especially in the playoff. If you think Luongo can't perform when it matters the most, answer this... How important do you think that game 5 was?
  11. all this talks, and you still haven't explain how would you expect the team to reach the game 7 with 8 goals in total without Luongo posting those 2 shut outs... because of that, i am out. You have your mind set on something, and no stat/logical evidences will convince you otherwise. It's a ridiculous thing that I have to ask someone why they think the team with that kind of scoring can get to game 7 in the first place... I am not going to waste anymore time in a circular argument with you.
  12. so...... game 1 and 2 wasn't a game that matter more than others cos if you lose in those 2 games, your team will be in a 0-2 craphole in a SCF? How about game 5 of the SCF when the winner will have a 3-2 lead of the series? that game didn't matter? So what is "a game that matters the most?"... cos from what you said so far, you still tend to lead me believe it's the games where the team lose..... In fact, losing any game in the playoff would grant your opponents momentums... so what is your point?
  13. hahahahahahahaha.. We got to game 7 not because of two shut outs when we had scored a combine of 8 goals in 7 games, but because Luongo played poorly. how on earth do you think the team would make it to game 7 with that kind of scoring without Luong's 2 shut out, one happened in game 5? We were the only cup final team in history who actually had a series lead for two times when the opposite team had outscored us by nearly two times. I know there are things call opinions.. but this is just wrong. This is what's wrong with the fan base in vancouver nowaday. The sense of entitlement is getting to a ridiculous level that they actually think the team should have win a cup regardless of how badly they played.
  14. how does the series come down to the netminder's duel when Boston outscored the canucks by 3 times while abusing them physically and mentally to the point where most of our core players are injured? if the only way we can win the serie was that our goaltender has to play lightout for 4 games, then we shouldn't even have a discussion on blaming our goalie. You talked about the only way we can win the boston series was that our goaltender has to play consistently light out. That is a pretty outrageous logic since you don't seem to think our forward and defensman should perform to win the cup. You put all the pressure and blame to our goaltender like it's a common practice that stanley cup winning teams win because of their goaltenders, not because of the team play. You also mentioned Tim thomas and how he kept the game close..but you didn't look at how the team played in the series, nor you look at how many goals he let in before Boston reached the SCF. Without his team actually scoring when he let in bad goals, the Boston would not even make it out of the first round, who he gave up a game tying goal with 2 mins left in the third period.
  15. care to explain what do you mean when you say "when it matters?"
  16. no it wasn't an elite performance but a sensible person will not judge a player base on one game. Without Luongo's 2 shut outs there won't even be a game 7 base on how the rest of the team played in that series. Luongo did not come out and steal a game for game 7, but he should be the last person to blame for the loss because of how poorly the team perform in front of him for the whole series. Now you should answer Poet's question and how does 3 goals allow not giving a team to win?
  17. According to you, the term "when it matters" is whenever a team lose. Base on this stupid principle, a team can NOT lose in the playoff run or it will become "certain player didn't perform when it matters the most." To people like you, it doesn't matter how hard our players fought to get the victories. Those victories aren't important because we won those games. This is a sickness. To you, the games before we reach the finals aren't matter the most. The 2 shutout from Luongo in the SCF weren't important. But when the team lose in a game 7, the game 7 suddenly become the only game that "matters" a retarded mentality like this means you will never be satisfy no matter how our players play.
  18. lol Lundqvist played well when his offense wasn't working? His 2008 playoff stat is .908 sv% and 3 GAA. Before that season it was .909 SV% and 2.57 GAA. He allowed 18 goals in just five games against the Pits in that year. The rangers missed the playoff the season after that playoff If He's in vancouver he would be chased out of the town in those two years because the fans will scream him not worthing the salary and that he's over rated. every single goalies out there, no matter how good they are, will have off games in playoffs. Trying to define a goalie's ability base on 1.5 seasons when he has a track record of excellent play is in my opinion, very stupid and short sighted.
  19. Stupid using the term "when it matters" like an idiot. Every game matters in the playoff. Just because you won some games, it doesn't mean the game you won aren't important.
  20. why bother? People like Nino are those who watches the team because he wants to see failure. If it's not Luongo, he will probably move on our other stars like Kesler or Sedins until they are chased out of the town. people like t hem are like locust. They will chew on anything in their way until there is nothing left. you want to talk to them with stats and logic? they don't care. They want our stars to fail so they have someone to chew on. The games we won are unimportant, but the games we lost are the most important game. You can't argue with those logic
  21. lol you just randomly make up some numbers and use the term "6 games" as the standard on how a good goalie should be? Cory did not steal any games. The team managed to score 3 goals in their only winning game in 2012, something they had failed to do so in ALL 6 of Luongo's games it's borderline retarded to use the argument like "if he can win one of the last 6 playoff games, then the goalie is good." without looking into context. But since it's coming from the infamous Nino, I won't say i am surprised.
  22. i believe you have mistaken the term elite with superhuman
  23. I think you are mixing up legendary and elite........ I do agree that luongo isn't in the same category as broduer until he can achieve what Brodeur achieved........ But elite does not equal to legendary.......
