  1. Perlini is on a bad team too, and yes he has the size. I really like the idea of giving Santorelli reigns on the 2nd line. Trade Kesler for the 8th and Etem. Canucks slide to 6th. Perlini, and Ritchie Canucks literally get 450lbs heavier and both players can still skate fast. Perlini Henrik Jensen Ritchie Santorelli Kassian Daniel Horvat Burrows (Bo Horvat Training Wheels line) Etem Gaunce Higgins Fox Hansen Shinkaruk and Cassels ready for injuries Damn that looks solid as hell. That is a top6.
  2. I said his numbers are stupid because they are ridiculously good. I acknowledge that affect and go on to say why they won't mean much. I specifically make jokes about how he isn't Patrick Kane and then you use Patrick Kane as an example for small players. Just so you know. Kane had 145 points in 53 games when he was 17. My only admission is another site says he's 183 lbs, in which case there's a chance.
  3. What does it matter if he plays with Drouin or not, obviously the line with Drouin on it is attracting 30 minutes a night from the best D. Maybe that's how he scored so much. not even considering the PP His numbers are stupid, I've watched him play. It isn't translating against LA and SanJose, so plz just go away. ^ Last two lines rhyme
  4. I do and yes sides playoffs lately he played with Drouin a lot. If you guys rally wanted Ehlers you'd go back in time and stop the Ballard trade.
  5. I think the dream scenario is we continue to slide, grab 6th trade Kesler for Etem and Ottawa's 8th. Then make the big decision to trade both for the top 2 or 3 Some say it's a bad move, I think it's exactly what we need to move the log jam of bottom 6 forwards along. If our top 5 performs we can actually be real about putting Burrows and Higgins on the 3rd line where they belong. You get Reinhart in a Canucks jersey, and Every little thing..... is gonna be aliright. Burrows Henrik Jensen Daniel Reinhart Kassian Matthias Horvat Etem Richardson Gaunce Higgins Fox Santorelli Hansen
  6. Was so choked WPG lost tonight, it would have been 4-4 on the teams to win to give us a better pick.
  7. No to any EU. (yes hypocritical with Jensen) After Erhoff I am probably as biggoted as you could ever be. If we're top 7 and Perlini is gone with the other LW, we have to pick Ritchie, the kid is exactly like Kassian and we've already gotten to him. I don't know enough about McCann or Virtanen, or Nylander but Ritchie is just the X factor, he wasn't far behind the OHL lead for goals at 38 on a meh team. He scored big goals in the Peterborough series, and I think they beat whoever in the second round today. Imo Virtanen, Nylander, McCann, and Fleury are all identical. I am just too biased towards size, Kassian doesn't even play physical and you see what he's just beginning to tap into Ritchie is the pick if the top 6 talent isn't acquirable.
  8. I just don't get it we were burnt by Schroeder. The league is moving to larger size unanimously. And the 160lb dangler with Drouin as his line mate is somehow the Patrick Kane like exception. Painful to see when Perlini and Virtanen are just outright superior picks.
  9. Thank God Gillis is gone before he wastes another pick on Schroeder.
  10. Wow espn has some damn potent cannabis to come up with that list
  11. I doubt that, players like Cassels, Shinkaruk, Fox are all going to be competing for a spot among one another. And drafting 2 players to add to that competition is better than getting a guaranteed top 6 forward? If this was a deep draft I'd agree, but Ehlers was projected at 6th overall, and now he's not even in the top 20. Players like Nyland and Kapanen have no points in their Euro leagues when players like Nishukinin lit it up. No one in this draft except the top 5 are at all electrifying. If we're drafting 7th and 9th we may as well be drafting 15th and 18th Get Reinhart and let him and Horvat lead this team to glory with the Sedins as baby sitters.

More so I was kidding, and expressing how stacked we are on youth next season lol! I at least think Fox/Gaunce will be pushing Sestito and Hansen out the door.
  13. Wow Reinhart falls to 4th. Damn if we can get Ottawa's 1st for Kesler the uptrade is so freaking possible.
  14. Nylander over Ritchie and I cry sweet tears.

    Horvat isn't either

We should stick all the rookies in the AHL for the Calder cup. Then we bomb the season, draft McDavid, and call them all up next year. Calder cup Utica comets: Jensen Horvat Fox Shinkaruk Gaunce Cassels Subban Corrado Erikson
  17. Team was on fire in December when we should have been 8th or 9th. Torts get's the most out of the players Some growing pains leading to his firing and Gillis is a terrible GM, hope we can get McDavid and let Lauernce Gilman have his fresh start.
  18. If we drafted 8th and Perlini fell to us cuz of Ehlers and Nylander going 6-7 I'd chuckle. He's going top 6 guaranteed.
  19. Perlini would be a nice consolation prize and at 205lbs and one of the youngest players draftable. I'd rather Dal Colle or Leon and if we can trade up to get either I would. I think we'll be drafting 7-8 though. And should trade the pick for 4th or 5th,
  20. Petes win game 7 in OT Ritchie vs Dal Colle
  21. It's a long shot but I've just heard Journalists say there's gonna be a log jam on prospects, this would make sense in getting a guaranteed 1st line sniper. Especially if we say screw it and let Etem/Santorelli/Horvat compete for 2C
  22. Time for Bovious Horvatious Mode
  23. This article is why I don't pay attention to anything the media says anymore. He leads the team in points at #5
