  1. ^ That's funny because a main issue from Virtanen is attitude.
  2. Whats more important is how many of those were 4-0 5-0 and 6-1 padder goals.
  3. People have to remember what this guy brings off the ice. After trading Daddy's boy for Saint Kassian and his children's volunteer work. Horvat will really bring a positive attitude to this team, that will be grateful to be professional athletes. The championship writing is on the wall and it starts with Horvat, Kassian, and Nick motherfuckin Ritchie
  4. That should be a game. I am a Bruins fan after the Canucks but Thornton that was stupid, even if the game was over you never do that during a play.
  5. If anything Sestito is the over sized player playing against boys argument people make for Ehlers and against Ritchie It wasn't until he was over aged he dominated, Ritchie has dominated since he was drafted.
  6. No it's actually a perfect example of what separates Ritchie from other supposed power forwards Ritchie can already make better passes and decisions than Sestio can now. Your basically comparing Ritchie to Sestito and that's your evidence when he actually out performs Sestito by such a margin you can't help but think he's anything but. Basically Ritchie outscored Sestito when he was 16 and Sestito was 18. No contest people. 16/17 year old Ritchie 35 points in 41 games 17/18 year old Sestito 20 points in 60 games
  7. Yea Ritchie only had more more goals and points in less games than Sestito while being a year younger. Ritchie 31 pnts in 41 games his 2nd year Sestito 20 points in 60 games his 2nd year and a year older than Rtichie's 2nd year Blown the fu** out
  8. Younger fans between the ages of 13-18 see a player like Ehlers and can't help but think Kane and ignore all statistical and observational truth that tells us there is only a small small chance he'll become like Kane.
  9. Coho is too slow for him to ever excel in the NHL like Kassian will. oh yea and instead of complaining about playing in the west he volunteers for handicapped children every single weekend
  10. Saw that article it looks great, I think alot of people underestimate how such a monster size of a player will benefit form his older brother being pro.
  11. Horvat was out in the 2nd round too lol. oh you mean b4 he was drafted
  12. When they really think about how Drouin would take a lot of focus off Ehlers from the opposing team's D. Even if he didn't directly assist Ehlers it's still a major factor for his success, especially in the soft QMJ. Ritchie had an electrifying playoff run with his team to beat Sam Bennett's team with a game 7 OT winner. Horvat did the same thing a few years ago, and apparently was a large part in picking him. If Ritchie ever found his consistency, especially by being drafted by such a hockey crazy organization, we would have a 35 goal scoring power forward, that get's it done like Getzlaf and Lucic do, the player he's said he models his game after.
  13. They won't be picking Ehlers, Aqualini would fire Linden on the spot.
  14. What a joke. Washington doesn't even like hockey. Vancouver breathes it
  15. I donno why anyone believes that will happen. Ehlers or Ritchie over Draisaitl or Dal Colle it just isn't worth it, Ritchie and Ehlers could both never be top 6 players. Dal colle and Draisaitl are hard to argue for anything but 1st line wingers.
  16. Yea id love to get ehlers and ritchie. Toronto will nit pass on ritchie. We cant take the huge gamble ehlers is. Not with a 6 overall we havnt had since the 90s
  17. Virtanen isnt going to go 7-9 it wouldnt make sense. We need to trade kesler to anaheim and get virtanen and ritchie. How i see the picks going Nyi dal colle van ritchie carolina ehlers Toronto perlini winnipeg nylander van acquired from anaheim. Virtanen After kesler edler and hansen gtfo we can start the new era Sedin sedin kassian Shinkaruk horvat virtanen rithchie gaunce jensen
  18. Ritchie is already far more developed than Kassian was. The kid looks like any of the top 10 forwards of anyyear with a complete skill set. Ritchie would be going 4th overall easily if Dal colle or Draisaitl didn't perform so well.
  19. It's gotta be Virtanen, Ehlers, or Ritchie. I love what Virtanen brings but Ritchie can have the finesse and grit you need to balance out depending on circumstances. He has made beautiful saucer passes, as well as blasting in one timers with ease. I've heard Virtanen attitude problems from the start, from Calgarians, and people from Abby. Virtanen is about as young as you could about be in the WHL which is a huge plus in my books considering he'll have literally another 8-9 months of development on the years' same drafted players. Between Virtanen and Ritchie, I don't buy the no RW in our system Jensen can snipe the puck, is big, and most importantly has IQ, the kid has put his time into the AHL and he's ready now. the LW listed were Shinkaruk, Sedin, Gaunce and Horvat? What? you're telling me Daniel who has been absolutely horrid since his concussion and 3 players who've never played an NHL game are our LW depth? Ritchie is a LW and actually fills positional needs, mainly the fact Daniel Sedin is almost a 3rd liner
  20. I like the Fisher and Hossa comparison. Definitely screams a safe player.
  21. I agree, Ehlers has some real talent though and if it's bonafide 40 goal scorer talent I thjink the pick is easy. I have seen a lot of grit from him as a small player. Let's see how much he really weighs and how tall he is at combine and see. I think NYI may just take him over Dal Colle anyway
