  1. Finding town is always helpful. See, this is why I said something was off with AngryElf.
  2. Sharpshooter's initial reply to my opening post seemed towny, but the fact that he didn't reply to my subsequent posts seem a bit wolfy. A town Sharpshooter doesn't miss an opportunity to get his $0.02 in. Does the bad cancel out the good? Not sure what luckylager's deal is in this game. Probably just trolly town, and if I'm right, then I trust he has something good cooking with this play. Something kind of off with AngryElf - perhaps, we focus our attention there.
  3. Yeah, usually. Not sure why he went rogue from his other half. Welcome back, btw
  4. I don't really care for his activity at this junction. I was just surprised to see him in this thread and playing.
  5. Alright, Sharpshooter pissed me off. Vote his ass.
  6. Alright, I don't have a PM so I'm town. Potato town, at that.
  7. New Jersey in for Garland? They have tons of prospects and a lot of defencemen. There's a fit here if the Canucks want one to be.
  8. This would be correct because, as the history books show, he did quite a lot wrong, unfortunately. I am also looking forward to the new crew. Hopefully, the good parts of the management team can compensate for the bad parts.
  9. Sure, but understand that "people" in this context are a very small minority upset by something that really doesn't exist. Evidently, if there were truly inherent behavioural or personality issues, I'm sure most of the hockey world would have raised this/taken notice. More importantly, many teams trying to hire her would have viewed this as a red-flag. One person doesn't have multiple offers from NHL teams and thousands of positive, well wishes and co-signs if they're truly a bad hire.
  10. Nope, nothing to do with my own feelings. A coaching change has contributed to the bounce in performance, but it would be completely naive to think that if Benning was still here, the team would be playing at the the level they are right now.
  11. Well, goal-scoring and defending was also missing from the roster and they never got addressed. The guys in charge didn't exactly know what to target when it came to free-agency.
  12. Only in Vancouver was he worth that money and term. Hope this helps.
  13. The Canucks haven't been stacked since nearly a decade ago. They certainly haven't been stacked in any season that Boeser has been here. Boeser is clear of Kapanen but not by a whole lot.
  14. Sure, coaching has helped but that's only taken the Canucks from a bottom 3 team to a playoff cusp team. Truth is, the players lost a ton of trust in their management after the events of October 2020 and matters became absolutely irreparable after the COVID debacle of March/April 2021.
  15. Maybe they're playing better because their bosses are no longer two guys with the communication and empathy skills of a cactus.
  16. They wouldn't let him trade Letang so he left.
  17. Allvin is the Weisbrod to Rutherford's Benning. It could be curtains for us, I'm afraid.
  18. I have no idea who you are. Hope this helps.
  19. I'm afraid we've dropped the ball here. Hopefully he has a short leash but cronyism might be too rampant to contend with.
