  1. I'm strangely nostalgic for the "Fire AV" days. He wasn't perfect, but he was certainly more competent than Willie.

      @Green Goblin What if we still lost Game 7 even with Schneider in net? The responses from the media here and beyond would be ripping Vigneault alive. Wasn't Luongo's fault he couldn't score goals.

      @Alflives You're right! It was Torts. Well that makes one of my points unsustainable, but I think you still get what I've intended point out.

       

      @Pears Well yeah I suppose that's a strong inverse point. But strategically, it would have been the smarter thing to do by playing the fresher also franchise level goaltender who didn't just get torn apart in game 6. Of course hindsight has to be taken into account. Too many 'what ifs' to dwell on it, and yet here we are.
