  1. And Holtz, though he's still developing And Stillman And Foote
  2. I mean, they've managed to not do it in 50 plus years and we're up to 32 NHL teams, there's a strong chance I'll never have to worry about this predicament..
  3. I don't see Bear as having much value tbh, not in a trade anyway. If anything Jersey will reallocate cap from Severson to Graves as they're already set on the right and don't need to replace Severson persay. Their top four probably looks like this going forward. Siegenthaler - Hamilton Graves - Marino Bahl isn't likely to cost them much to retain either, he's up to 4 points in 24 games thus far. Letting Tatar likely covers Bratt and some of Meier, Jonathan Bernier's 4.1M being freed up likely covers the rest of Meier. They'll likely flip Blackwood's rights and reallocate his 2.8M back into the roster. Could probably find more cost effective replacements for Wood and Haula. Jersey's in an enviable position really, they'll likely find a way to keep the best pieces of their current roster intact and they've still got great prospects in the system.
  4. But it is what it is and he supposedly had an attitude when he was younger Sure could use a player like him now
  5. I think they'll figure it out, rentals aren't really their MO Eh, we'll see, I reckon LA will be talking to him There's a difference between playing for an up and comer in Los Angeles and playing for a bottom feeder in Columbus Ohio
  6. Why would Gavrikov even be available? Presumably the Kings didn't give up a 1st to let him walk.
  7. Jury is out on Hronek but management largely underwhelmed. They weren't really able to shift cap out outside of their having bungled Horvat which resulted in their having to move him, in fact they brought more in. Disappointing results.
  8. Could be Zucker is a big one though, he helps them compete now and he's got a limited NTC He also fills the spot Miller would presumably fill right now
  9. Don't forget to take care of yourself, you're at risk of overheating

  10. Revisit after the season wraps up? Could be more trade options for "young centers" closer to the summer given teams would have more time to address their rosters. Zucker will also be off their books.
  11. It'd be funny ngl but I expect they'll drop or tread water the rest of the way
  12. Thing is they can acquire players with picks. They literally have a recent track record of doing so, having acquired a 1st as part of the Horvat deal and having flipped it for someone they view as a top 4D in Hronek. It doesn't all have to happen in one fell swoop. I don't care for moving picks but they've already demonstrated a willingness to move a 1st, why not do it with what'd likely be middling picks from Pittsburgh? It's baffling that they wouldn't take a couple 1sts and cap space (if this was actually on the table, we don't know) and then flip assets later on to address their bit at center. Trading Miller would also help the tank, they're likely to get a quality center prospect via the draft if they hover around 4-6.
  13. You mean 1st, young center who's reaching a career high with each point, and the D Dallas traded a 1st for? Yeah, that's never going away.
  14. It's wild seeing anything from Bob, he hasn't been active in a while, and then he drops this
  15. Sure we do, we've followed the team the past ten seasons of what's largely been mediocrity. Doesn't look like it'll happen this time but the concept of us somehow now being able to handle a rebuild when an even more rabid market in Montreal can is a load of crap.
  16. Wonder if we might not see a three way involving Turcotte, they were checking in with LA
