  1. I was thinking the same thing earlier, definitely looks like a smokescreen to dampen the trade narrative Could see something closer to thr draft once this season has wrapped up, if nothing else this indicates they were willing to listen on Miller Unlikely as it may be there is a chance he's gone before his NMC kicks in, teams will have more flex going into the offseason and more time to untangle their cap scenarios
  2. They picked up quite a few points in February tbh 5 wins and three losses in OT or shootout in 10 games
  3. That's kinda what I'm expecting, it'll be their best opportunity to get actual assets for him
  4. If anything Pasta left money on the table to stay in Boston imo, which might sound nuts given what he's going to be paid but hey. I had Pettersson pegged between 10-11 but I wouldn't be shocked to see him come in at between 11-12. I wouldn't be surprised to see Pettersson go into next season unsigned, the incoming Matthews deal is going to raise deals around the league.
  5. He's having a really good year tbh, 49 points in 60 games thus far on a Hawks team that doesn't have much Pending UFA Really adds skill to the Stars forward group
  6. Hawks and Coyotes likely won't be winning a whole lot anymore Good add though, Domi's a piece I'd have been interested in via UFA if we'd found a way to dump cap up front
  7. I think retainment is more likely than his being willing to go to a bottom feeder, otherwise what's the point of negotiating an NTC? Despite the flack he gets I am inclined to believe Myers cares about winning. Sure, doesn't mean he won't want to win though. If anything he might look more appealing having played on a competitive team than a team where he's more likely to be lit up. I could see us just taking salary back or retaining.
  8. Myers has a 10-team NTC, more than likely bottom feeders are going to be on it I don't think he'll be as easy to move as some think
  9. Some have said Denisenko and that could be it but I think it might be Samoskevich, who's having a good season Seems unlikely it's Lundell, these are the only three players Florida has who are recent 1st round picks The potential cost worries me though https://www.capfriendly.com/players/grigori-denisenko https://www.capfriendly.com/players/mackie-samoskevich
  10. I'm more inclined to believe he was banged up but they wanted to run with the week to week bit as it'd generate less of a firestorm I do think he was, and is, on the table if a team wanted to ante up, but that doesn't mean a Miller trade was ever likely I haven't trusted this group regarding injuries since Hughes mysteriously went from day to day to week to week back in like October, the Pearson gaffe only reinforces my skepticism
  11. Week to week my ass Can't trust the Canucks when it comes to anything injury related anymore
  12. I mean, all have had respectable careers even if some of them haven't lived up to their draft hype If there's hope for the Canucks there's hope for the Coyotes, even if that ends up coming to fruition outside Arizona
