  1. That'll make things interesting. It'll be interesting to see what they pay him and how they fill out their team. They don't have anything big coming off their books. They'll probably let Green walk and Smith is gone for sure.
  2. With a name like that Nashville didn't really have a choice
  3. Holy $&!#, someones willing to take on that contract? Be interesting to see what Minny gives up, Parise has two additional years and takes up a few more mil in cap space.
  4. Heinen seems like a plucky player, should be a fit for Anaheim Ritchie's a 20-30 point guy who's reasonably young, Boston gets a big body who can provide complimentary offense
  5. I'd be happy to see him win tbh, he was a great Shark and has never been a problematic guy or player.
  6. I still think they'd have been better off moving him, but you can't just throw a bunch of young guys together. Gotta have some vets. Could see this aging poorly, but they've got the cap space for it I suppose.
  7. Seems like an awful lot for NYI to five up for Pageau, even if it is the deadline. They likely don't give up the third, but still. Not a move I'd wanna make for a player of his level.
  8. Someone else can overpay for him, I'm happy with what we've got at forward. It's smart of the Rags to move him, his value will never be higher and a seven year contract at whatever he's asking likely turns into an albatross down the road. They'll get more pieces for their retool, as if they need them.
  9. So.. Bogosian.. Helluva upgrade, going from Buffalo to Tampa. It'd be entertaining to see another ex-Sabre win a cup shortly after leaving Buffalo.
  10. Be interesting to see how he does in Washington, they were already dangerous. Good trade for Montreal, that's basically a free third.
  11. Outside of the Boston pieces and eggo on the ice it's been a while since the Leafs have been this embarrassed Gonna be hard to hate Carolina after this, they really played hard for him
  12. He's one of my favourite people it hockey, not players, people. It's easy to look at him as a millionaire athlete who should be living the good, problem free life but people don't work that way. Even the wealthy have demons to fight, and he had those long before he was wealthy. Good on him.
  13. If we were out of the playoff picture I'd consider it, we've never had a 1st overall pick. But we're not, and I'm not interested in what he'll be looking for regarding an extension. Not at his age.
  14. Calgary and Edmonton lost yaaaay

word, as long as the $&!#ty bruins and east coast teams help us out, ill cheer, even if its a team i hate.

Watched the game and cheered for the Bruins.  Still feel dirty after a couple of showers.  Found myself cheering against both teams at times, very confusing.  Good night for Vancouver, now time to play a full 60 against Boston.

  15. At least Minny did us a solid after getting away with a win against us. Nice to see Calgary lose too, just gotta win tomorrow and make those losses mean something.
