  1. We've been buzzing, hope we see more of this in the third
  2. We could really use something from Brock and Petey tonight
  3. Alright boys, finish the period strong Let's get another one
  4. Weak, we don't even get a powerplay Edit: we do!
  5. First Leafs fans, now Habs fans It's frustrating when fans of the visiting team seem louder than Canucks fans
  6. Yikes, I could def see Colorado not being interested in that. There's no guarantee it'll be two 1st-round picks, but I wouldn't risk having to give up two of them for Hall.
  7. Maybe Arizona's plotting to re-sign Hall in hopes that they can garner a couple #1 picks to help them beat up on the the central division down the road.
  8. I don't know enough about the players to say anything about em, but you've gotta think this hurts our playoff chances a bit. Arizona's been good this year and they just got another legit piece to help out their top six. Central's been strong too, so even wild card may be iffy. Everyone but LA (and they've been better lately) is gunning for those three divisional spots.
  9. I was wondering about that. They'd save more that way than simply burying him, but not by too much. Ideally they find a way to move him without taking on term. We've still got 4m in dead space next season in Spooner and Luongo.
  10. Both teams would have to agree, yeah. My understanding is that a team and player can agree to mutually terminate a contract at any time, but a player has to clear unconditional waivers first. It'd be Sven walking away from money though as he's under 35. If he was to agree to that it'd make more sense for him to ride out the season and terminate the contract closer to UFA season. At least that way he'd be paid for the rest of this season.
  11. I'd be surprised if Baer went for that, wouldn't that involve him walking away from the rest of the money on his contract? If teams weren't willing to take him for free at his current cap hit it's unlikely he'd get a better deal than he's on elsewhere. He's probably just going to have to sit tight and be a good soldier in Utica while hoping JB moves him. Thing is, I don't see JB giving up a whole lot of organizational value just to make him happy. Deal would have to make sense. Making moves for the benefit of the player is a whole lot easier when the player's on a cheaper contract (ex: Biega).
  12. Be interesting to see whether he's traded any time soon At the very least, maybe his clearing will silence his agent for a while
