  1. I am a self-proclaimed cat person and am absolutely fine with folks being suspicious of me because of it My family has always had cats and they're my fave
  2. I've been thinking about it the last couple days so I'll probably give it a shot. Gonna give up liquor for February, I don't drink a whole lot in terms of volume but I've begun to drink more frequently than I'd like. I've had too many alcoholic friends and I'm wary of it becoming a problem, it's probably nothing but I'd rather err on the side of caution.
  3. I've never heard of it actually
  4. That sounds pretty cool tbh! I'll have to check em out if I can find em on youtube!
  5. Hey now, you're a Brock-star, get the show on, get paid!
And all that glitters is gold!
Only shooting stars break the mold!

  6. I have a deep love for biographies and Star Wars novels. Well, anything Star Wars related really. But the expanded universe has always made me happy even if Disney trashed a bunch of it. With biographies it's often musicians, actors, criminals/law enforcement, ect. I used to think they were boring but people lead such interesting lives and their stories are often more interesting than any fiction someone could make up.
  7. Hey now, you're an Brock-star, get your game on, go play!

I tend to pay more attention to posters  that have balance and a level of maturity, I read that your contemplating volunteering , go for it!  i'm going for a self management volunteer leader program,  'living with physical pain' I have  rhumetiod arthritis but am very active with excersize ,mountain biking, prior to going on disability I volunteered to the salvation armys Christmas kettle drive ,  that was a learning experience , a good one. the giving of ones time doesn't always have to be about money. totally looking forward to helping or giving advice to others that cant cope with their pain.

I'll probably end up going for it, it's a lot of commitment but it's a good way to get where I wanna go I think? Even if that's not particularly set in stone, it'd also be kinda nice to do something for someone that's not me you know?

  8. This all-star break is gonna drive me crazy. No hockey because of unimportant hockey.

He's the only reason I'll follow what happens even though I hate it. Brockstar love outweighs all!

Make it end of season or scrap it all together. Complete farce lol

  9. I'm heavily considering doing some training to become a volunteer counselor, I view it as a chance to do something for someone other than myself and take a step towards going back to school for social services. It's a large time commitment (100 hours of counseling post-training) though. I'm also worried about going through the training and not being able to do it, which is what happened when I went through crisis line training a couple years back. That being said, the biggest issue I had with that experience was that you never know what you're getting when you pick up the phone and you worked in a purely assessment/deescalation model. It was more complicated than that but that's pretty close. I've gotta do more homework but it's been on my mind a lot.
  10. I wish he'd done more with this project tbh, I'll always dig this song
  11. Eichel though. What a talent. Puts Buffalo on his back every game offensively.

That's why he will be making 8 figures per year starting next season.  He's a great player on a team that gives him little help.

Absolutely, if Buffalo can surround him with a serviceable top six and grab a few good D I can't see them staying where they've been for long. Dude is a stud player.

I can't believe I benched him in my pool tonight.

  12. Man, Barzal is really beginning to pull away pointwise

Pretty much, I'm glad we've got some real promising prospects because we need more skill in the lineup in general

If Barzal's success continues to drive Oilers fans nuts for not drafting him, I can live with that.

Bo got hurt and Brock basically carried a bad team offensively in his rookie season single-handedly.

      Could Barzal do that?

I'm going to guess no, since most of his points are assists - on an elite offensive team.

Don't really care if Barzal wins it. We'll win a Cup before NY does because they have a bunch of dough-heads running the team.

  13. They look really big in that picture, I don't usually get that close to my face haha But those are my eyes
  14. When I was younger I wanted to get married and all that but I'm not too keen on it now. It's expensive, I'm not religious so none of that really plays into it and I'd much rather travel with someone and see a bit of the world for the price of such a headache.
  15. Man, if Bo can come back and give this team an injection of offense that'd be huge

      J-23

Bo needs to comeback for Boesers Calder race and cause he's out #1 guy. Boeser needs Bo back on his line, Gagner has been slacking recently after his 4 point game. Plus Bo will make our team feel fast again.

seasons over who cares   draft in top 5 get another piece, move sine vets out  get a few more picks  find a few gems to speed up our rebuild

Management and coaching likely care, you want a team that competes and commits to it's systems and each other. You would hope the players care because a fair number of em will be back next season and there's still half a season left for em to progress and build on their game. I care, other fans seem to care.

The incentive to bottom out isn't what it used to be, if we're destined to pick 5-7 again I'd rather be competitive and score some goals on our way there. Chips are gonna fall where they will regardless, may as well support the guys along the way.

  16. I've mostly given up on loving someone in a romantic way again I'm just not sold on my being able to be that close to someone or someone wanting me to be
