How did Rodin play today?

His style of play to me seems like it is better suited to North American type of play because he is pretty quick and goes to the dirty areas to score and some few nice passes from behind the net. Also he played really well in the 2009 WJC on a North American sized rink as well, thanks for including the WJC highlights as well Johan, I saw quite a few things I liked. His shot is good and it seems like he is strong on the puck plus goes to the dirty areas. Obviously this video was a very small sample size however. I can't wait for him to head over to the Moose. I could see him getting time with the Canucks next year as well on the 3rd line.

Hey johan do you know why Silfverberg was drafted ahead Rodin, seems Rodin's stats during their draft year were quite a bit better than Jakobs.

how did silfverberg and jarnrok do?and it's good to know that he is doing better now, good to know he lead the team in icetime despite not registering a single point. I hope he gets more pk time so can become an even better two way play similar to eriksson. Also, Does Rodin have a good hard, accurate shot?

Is he more of a sniping winger or a playmaker? Or bit of both these aspects.

Schroeders doing a lot better now as well. Hopefully maybe they will test out hodgson and schroeder again.

Rodin was drafted mainly for offense in the 2nd round of a deep draft while Hansen with picked I think in he last round of 05 mainly as a utility player. they were considering using our 1st on Rodin.

that was before the tourny and he played good on the first game, not grade but good. second game he was just average in the first 2 periods but great in the third

16 and 17... how often do they play? two times a week? 3 times a week?

with hodgsons supposidly starting in the ahl schroeders chances just got a whole lot better to make the team

this thread was made before he broke out but even then that was stupid. he was a great penalty killer and third liner who provided lots of grit and never quit. he was good for about 25 points before his breakout season which was awesome for someone whos almost on a league minimum contract. He provided a lot of grit and character to the team.

Rodin with 2 goals in his second preseason game for total of 3 goals and 1 assist in 2 games!

He would probably be 2nd line in Brynas once the actual season starts as I doubt all of Brynas' top players would be playing that early in the preseason.

Luongo has been fantastic in the playoffs if you look at his save percentage and GGA, despite game 6 against the Hawks last year he has been fantastic, the problem was our defenseman giving the puck away and scoring most of the time. Really, your going to base his playoffs on one game and one regular season game? Come on, obviously you haven't seen the 06/07 playoffs when Luongo carried the Canucks on his back and playoffs by himself? This guy is amazing, and when he is doing his best, he's the best in the world. Yes, it depends on Luongo, but I'm sure he will come through as he did in the Olympics. ( Don't tell me Canada played great even though their offense and defense died when they had the lead in the last third period.
