  1. The United States, well they're funding this campaign the most.
  2. This was the biggest problem with the timeline that JT initially put in place for bringing refugees over. That was a terrible idea and it was a political move and thankfully Canadian officials changed JT's mind.
  3. Well we certainly know that some do slip through the cracks. It's seems we will always have people make excuses for those people slipping through. Certainly we are doing a better job than European countries are.
  4. Too many. That being said we don't need more, especially from a person that we welcomed into this country.
  5. Trudeaumania was only 1968 after that he won a minority then was defeated after that he won again in 80 and by 84 the liberals were decimated and Mulroney won the biggest majority in Canadian history. Basically voters not happy with Pierre. Trudeau became so unpopular that Chretien did not want him involved in the referendum. Polarizing figure for sure but just looking at numbers don't tell the whole story qbout PET.
  6. He has said that b4 but its all good I like @kingofsurrey. I even like him more now that he is not sure about voting liberal again in 2019.
  7. Yup I have already corrected you on this b4. He was pm from 68 to 79 and then 80 to 84. King is the longest serving pm. I think Pierre is 3rd or 4th.
  8. His dad did 11 straight years not 16. He was defeated by Joe Clarke in 79.
  9. That 15 billion of lost revenue would certainly help us invest in green energy, wouldn't it?
  10. Well it's hard to say what the feds would reinvest in B.C. What I do know is this country has countless hand outs and a growing population and the millionaires and billionaires seem to hide their money so they don't pay taxes so we need money from somewhere.
  11. If the rest of the world agrees then I'm with you. Fair enough? Otherwise we are just propping up nations like Arabia, U.S, Venezuela, etc.
  12. The CpC brought in more immigrants than any government before it. I'm not going to argue if it was done responsibly just pointing out there are different "right wing" imo.
  13. I know I'm just pointing out the lost revenue is significant.
  14. A pipeline is better for the environment than rail.
  15. I would say 1 or 3 is most likely, probably 3 though considering I doubt JT wants this debacle going into an election.
  16. Yup lots of lost revenue. More money for health, education, military, veterans, seniors, paying down debt, etc.
  17. Really? What about BC residents making very good money working up in Northern BC's oil industry or in Alberta? It's funny you say that as all the polls I see suggests a majority in BC support the expansion. The uneducated in this thread keep bringing up Alberta and don't realize the feds are pushing hard for this. The feds stand to gain huge money in royalties and Canadian and Alberta oil can stopped being sold at such a reduced rate.
  18. So you want to stop pipelines in Canada and stop tankers in the BC coast but you support tankers coming from the US? And I guess you support the oil industry. The US oil industry that is.
  19. Bottom line is the story you made up was BS. Pleass call my bluff. I dare you.
  20. Actually I don't have a history of that. I know what people say and I remember it. Maybe you can't remember one day to the next, that's fine, that's you. Just because you, toews and hippy say that doesn't make it accurate. I have been on this board far longer than those two I don't have to prove anything to anyone. Fact is all those things were said but I need to skim through year old threads post by post to make you three are happy? Lol go obsess about Trump and leave me alone.
