Depending on your age or if you have any pre existing medical history, I'd call a proper health authority, not debate it on a hockey teams discussion board.

Well we know who to blame then don't we? LOL! Just once in a blue moon the Canucks win a spin of the wheel, or bingo gate.

He wanted to sign here, virtually unknown other than he was a KHL free agent. I sure hope RT doesn't screw this up.

I've always said, let the scorers score, that's what they do.
-
Playing third line minutes and second unit pp, while Boeser gets promoted would do that to a guy. I wonder if this all relates to the banana and coke on the bench? The "I'll show you syndrome".

Miller blind back hand pass on the power play, Check. Kuzmenko on the third line, and second power play unit, shooting for 40 as a rookie, Check Numerous fire drills under Tocchet's "system", Check Myers doing Myers things, Check PA is going to be a very busy guy over the summer, Check I give Tocchet parts of 2 seasons max as the Canuck head coach. -
Do you really know this for sure? I do remember Bruce taking part in the recruitment of Kuzmenko, was that one of his meetings? It took Tocchet getting a healthy NHL goalie back to get to his (Tocchet's) current record. Bruce had an injured Demko and two AHL fillers between the pipes until the New Year. That's the only difference in the system that I'm seeing on this team. They're still playing dump and chase, and even on a power play no less. The pk looks no different other than Bo isn't taking faceoffs. They still get into fire drill mode. I still see guys like Myers, Miller, Boeser, and Garland panic and get rid of the puck like a hot grenade. I hope you're right about Tocchet's system beginning next fall, if not, expect more of the same.

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner! I've been saying this since Tocchet got here. Boeser plays first line minutes, now Kuzmenko is playing 3rd line minutes with Sheldon Dries, who, if the team had a healthy lineup would be in Abby.

@-Vintage Canuck-, is Jett Woo dressed in a Mullet?

Get well very soon! I love homerism too, and I'll take being called out for being too critical. This is what the Canucks have been doing to me since the beginning, and I've seen it all. Last summer was tough for all the wrong reasons, that circus should never have happened, and nor shall it ever happen again. Hopefully management has a plan that works, and can get it done over the season. There's too much talent being wasted on this team.

As has Quinn. Until Demko got healthy they might have been exploring options regarding him. I would still flip a coin on either Bo or Miller though. -

Imagine how that would have played out in Canuckland? Patrick was one of those juniors that always seemed to be injured, but he was the bright, shiny object that many were coveting. I look at an even older EP, and wonder how he does it. Skinny as a rail, but can shoot the puck, and has great wheels. His vision is ultra at the NHL level too. Saying that, this team needs some bigs, with speed and skills. -

I'm kinda meh, on those two. Neither would be on the roster if Mikheyev and Pearson were healthy. I wonder if Hoglander is going to get a good shot at a roster spot too. His game has improved down in Abby by all accounts and in the two games I saw, he was the best player on the ice. This team needs BIG, and SPEED. Kuzmenko has more skill on his pinky finger other than EP and QH's, yet he's the one singled out for not playing the right way. Let the scorers score and do what they do best. -

I didn't say they did, in fact the opposite. If that's what you're suggesting? Hell, Bedard ain't gonna help them. -

The Canucks need more than those 4 guys, as the drop off is significant. Kuzmenko, Mykheyev, and Boeser aren't enough. They've found a good one in Hirose, and who knows maybe kids like Karlsson, Bains, Johansson, and McDonough improve a lot over the summer. This draft is vital. Speed, size, and high skill levels are a must. Listening to John and John talking about the Ducks depth was an eye opener. At least the Canucks have a farm team on the rise. Hughes appears to have developed into a 25+ minute guy per game, with ease. EP needs a big guy to create the space he needs. Miller, well I think he has too many brain farts on the ice which result in turnovers. He is a horse, but....Where would this team be without Demko? We saw that when he came out of camp not 100%, and this team had no cap space to acquire a NHL backup goalie. Lastly, lets just hope there's no drama over the summer in getting EP signed. That debacle over the coach was a huge distraction for this team, one which never should have happened. -
Get this kid working on his faceoffs, he's a better option than Dries.
-
Is this article correct and confirmed that he's on his way? Or, just speculation from the media? He'd be a good add to that Abby roster.

Aside from maybe that one power play when they had control in the LA zone, you're correct. Myers double clutch in his own zone makes me wonder if the Canucks can get a bag of pucks for him, even if he's carrying a $1M contract. I don't even want to comment on Millers pass to Delia which immediately turned into a fire drill. LA has some pretty big forwards, which the Canucks don't have. Which is why I think kids like Karlsson, Bains, and Raty are going to get a good look at camp. Dump and chase won't work with the players the team has now, they simply aren't big enough. One positive, Dries surprised that guy, and Hirose is showing up every game, and not disappointing anyone. -

I'm sorry but I'm not seeing any of that, yet he still gets first line minutes. His shot isn't anywhere near where it was when he was a rookie or a sophomore. That was his bread and butter. -

Kuz would get a first and a player. Hell of a lot more than Boeser, and any others on this roster that seem to be able to get away with haphazard efforts. I'm going out on a limb, Tocchet won't be the coach in two seasons. -

He was benched after one shift in the third, never saw the ice in OT. Plus his center was Sheldon Dries, and no disrespect to Dries, but he ain't EP. Yet, Boeser stays on line #1. I want to see how this plays out under a full season of Tocchet. I'm sure there will be lots of player movement, but his way or the highway for certain players, and others getting kid glove treatment will be more of the same in Canuck land.
