I guess this is a little off-topic but next off-season is really looking like it will be (or should be) one of the busiest and eventful off-seasons for a long time for the Canucks. Nice to see them score 8, but the PK and the defensive effort was allover the place. If the group was healthier we could get some more consistency. I think that's one of the issues right now on defense, lack of consistency. Really want Dermott to come back soon here.

Let's get the Horvat and Kuzmenko extensions done now. Preferably before this season even started. Kuz is an absolute beauty.

I mean #9 didn't look great before Miller arrived. Prust, Kassian and Hodgson prior?

Both trades that were made recently we were the clear winners if you look at the value of the assets in the trades. Can't believe that, what seems like, the majority of you are upset about it. Ill chalk it up as built up frustration because these moves are low cost high reward type of deals in our favor.

I don't think Myrenberg is an NHL player. Mikey needed to chance somewhere else. Take on a project with some promise, nothing to really be up in arms about here

It really should be where the streets have no name. Iconic. My vote, something a little similar, something to really create an "epic" atmosphere that I feel "where the streets have no name" provides. Big fan of the intro songs that make your entire body curl up, the hairs on you neck get raised and you just feel like something legendary will happen soon. Get the anticipation to the max. Something that moves you. "now and forever" just vibes with my entire being as a fan of the Canucks. Ironic to suggest a song called "outro" for an intro.. but I can just envision our boys coming out to this absolutely epic and legendary song from m83. Gives me chills. Not gonna repeat what other posters have already outlined so well. I just wanted more.. more talk about philosophy and a greater insight to the people building the team. I guess just more talk. Felt like a lot of the video was just scenic shots. Saw a tweet during development camp about Jurmo standing out by how many questions he was asking the staff. Felt the video replicated that quite well. Good to see.

Hoping for something a little longer than what we've become used to. I've seen a lot of other teams consistently put out high quality 20-30 min videos throughout the season and would be ecstatic if the Canucks follow suit.

This management group shouldn't be judged by fans impatience. I would much rather them make the right moves rather than the fast moves out of desperation or pressure from media and fans.

Something that's been on my mind for quite some time now, is why we aren't testing Hughes on the right side. He's played there in the past, he's comfortable with it and has come out and said that he wouldn't mind playing on the right. There was some speculation that the Canucks want to move OEL over to the right but that doesn't make near as much sense as Hughes. OEL - Hughes Dermott - Myers Rathbone - Schenn That doesn't look half bad to me.

Like the player a lot. I think this is a good bet from the Sens.

I know this is a JT Miller thread but.. I am wondering if Calgary makes sense as a potential destination for Toews. A trade involving Toews and Monahan.

I really believe the Canucks should push very hard and even overpay for John Marino if they have to. Exactly the type of RHD we need. He’s 25 and signed for 5 more years at 4,4 aav. Perfect is a strong word but it’s close to it. This off-season is likely the only time Marino could be available as well and I’m worried the Pens make the wise choice of moving Dumoulin or Pettersson before Marino.
