  1. Yeah. I don't know what's wrong with the team either. It's just really frustrating because I want the team to do well. It's even more frustrating that we don't know what the root issue and cause is that's causing this team to underperform. I want to enjoy the games as well, but I can't help but get upset when they're playing so poorly.... Probably need a couple of beers just to handle all the losses, and the bone headed plays... DRINK UP!
  2. 5.8%? That's better than the supposed 4.2% the other day. This season is going to continue to go south. By the time Green is fired, the season will be completely lost. It's pretty clear what ownership should do, but they're not going to do it until it's too late sadly. This season is just a lost cause. I'm not sure how there's not a firing already. This week maybe?
  3. none of us are alone. It's why we're on these boards. This team has us all concerned. something has to be in the works. I mean, for management, and ownership and coaches to do nothing different, but the same stuff over and over again, well, we all know that's the definition of insanity. When is their next game by the way? Cause I ain't watching
  4. This is Green's system. "Alright guys. Just go out there, dump and chase, dump and chase, dump and - well - you get the point right? And then just leave Demmers out to dry and let him save, you know, everything."
  5. it's a fair question. Their lack of performance makes you think that somethng about their bodies ain't right.
  6. Let's hope Green is gone soon. Although with that being said, Green has "Developed" Podkolzin to date, pretty well, no?
  7. yeah, that's my worry as well. I think Miller most likely doesn't stay. I think he probably prefers to be in the US. Maybe he goes back to NY? Or Tampa Bay? I think Horvat depends. If next season is much of the same as this season, then I think he'll want to be traded to a contender, or he rides out the season and goes straight to free agency where he can determine where he wants to go. It's sad that the state of the franchise has come to this point. if we win the draft lottery, everything changes. Unless of course Wright is a bust. But this season, it looks like the chances of making the playoffs is slim to none. What are the crowds going to look like moving forward? Who knows. But I can't imagine it looks better unless the team goes on a huge winning streak.
  8. Couldn't defend either. Cause we let in that one goal that happened to be the GWG.
  9. haha. Islanders aren't stupid. If you're seeing this about Brock, chances are they know it just as well. It'll have to be Boeser +.
  10. I understand that they were UFA's and signed the best deal they could. That's not what I'm upset about. I think it's more that Benning has lacked communication with those players (minus Markström).
  11. Yeah. I'm not saying the players have a way out. They have a responsibility to play - they are being paid top dollar to perform, and they haven't done that either. But much like a puzzle. The pieces are all wrong. They don't fit. The pieces being management, coaching staff, and certain players. I think a change could do wonders for the players and their psyche, but we all know that ownership won't do that. They like to play GM, and Benning is more than happy to play puppet and take public beatings. There's not a lot of trust internally it feels, but also publicly. The brand of the Canucks is deteriorating. Who's to blame for that? I'm looking at you, Francesco.
  12. Yep. And this is unforgivable really. You have an asset that's going to UFA, and you don't get anything - like zero - assets for them. Why is this inability excusable from the owner?
  13. Not sure Minnesota even wants Boeser for hockey reasons. They don't care tha the's from Minny. They want a good hockey player, and he is not that right now. With the way that Brock's been playing, Ek and Greenway are far better players. Why would they do this deal? They'd want to give far less back to Vancouver than the current package. That NY-VAN proposal deal is horrific. Benning does that, he deserves to be fired.
  14. It isn't loosing those players. It's how they felt they were treated by management. That kind of thing doens't just stay with one player. Word spreads.
  15. Seems like it. How is Chicago, who sucks by the way, who played on a back to back, won against a team at home, who's been well rested and waiting. There is literally no &^@#ing excuse for tonight's loss. When you have offensive players like Boeser, Pettersson, Horvat, Miller, Garland, and you get shut out 1-0, when the Hawks were playing the night before, I mean, what else can be said. I am almost at a loss for words here on these boards. I love my team, so I continue to discuss them. But it's getting more and more difficult finding new things to talk about with this team.
  16. I mean, Benning liked the guy so much he extended him too. So it's not just on Green. If you're the GM and you remove the player (like Pearson), then Green is forced to put someone else with Bo. But Benning does the stupid thing and places the one player Green loved putting with Bo. It's Dumb and Dumber leading the way. And fans, and players alike can all see that. This organization is a $&!# show and it shows. Everyone can see it. It's only a matter of time until it hits the owners pockets, and when that happens, change will truly occur. In some sense, I am conflicted. I want my team to do well, and thrive, because that means if the team thrives, the individual players generally play well. But if the team is playing well, then nothing systemically will change. So things need to get worse, far worse, before systemic changes can occur with this franchise. We need Roberto Aquilini, to step in and lead the way. Relieve Francesco. Seems like an idiot to me.
  17. So why does Green insist that his star players change their game to suit his system? If it's not working, adapt and change your system so that your players can thrive!
  18. so why doesn't Green adapt his system to fit more of his star players on the team?
  19. Well, I think it's management as well and the way they've treated players (past). Those kinds of things spill over. I don't understnad how this management team is so unintelligent in that area and how they don't understand. Their incompetence and their toxic culture has ruined this organization down to their players. Everyone has to go. Benning, Weisbrod, Green, Baumgartner, King, etc. Replace them with competent people and turn this $&!# show around. Because enough is enough already. Holy &^@#.
  20. If the cycle game doesn't suit one of your star players, then maybe the coach needs to adapt his system and strategy so that his star players can thrive. That makes sense to me, doesn't it?
  21. Couldn't get any worse the assistants that are on there now.
  22. Maybe need to trade him sooner rather than later then. Get what we can for him while his value seems to be at his highest.
