  1. Benning not defending Green publicly has me thinking a firing is in the works this week.
  2. I think the owners know that if they did a full rebuild, the arena would be empty on most nights. Vancouver loves a winner, and if there isn't one, people don't come out to the games apparently. Aquilini is a businessman at the end of the day, so he's going to make the best decision for his business. And that's having people in seats, even if the illusion is that fans have a "playoff" contending team, which this team, as it currently stands, is not.
  3. Yeah. What the &^@# is Miller doing in that second image. Defending his own teammate? WTF.
  4. If they lose. Probably a blessing in disguise for the franchise. A wake up call for Francesco maybe.
  5. Yeah. I get it man. We definitely doing poorly in both areas. The players are playing scared right now. Where is the leadership from the GM and the owner in reassuring that things will be okay. If there is a rift between the players and management. And management fires the coach that they supposedly like. Where does things go from there? Does it get worse? Players demanding trades?
  6. Man that stings. well it ain’t because of the city that’s for sure. It’s probably the coaching. I don't get it. Schmidt isn't a defensice defenseman but Green wanted him to be one? Does that make sense? Why didn't Green talk to Benning about acquiring one so that they didn't have to ask a player to play a way he isn't used to playing? No wonder Schmidt didn't look like himself.
  7. Everyone wanted Brown to be fired when he was behind the bench. Now everyone wants him back? LMAO.
  8. I mean being defensively responsible should be something every player needs to be. What I’m wondering is if the players are being over coached. Playing a free Willy type of offense where the team just runs and guns it won’t get us very far when the playoffs come around. Why is it so hard to be good defensively while maintaining the offense? It shouldn’t be an either or type of thing.
  9. Radio silence from Benning and management. We need a fresh voice unless Francesco likes losing money?
  10. I think it’s management. So many players who have left the Canucks the last year or so have indicated that management is an issue. I think that’s left a sour taste in the players mouth. Maybe there’s no confidence from the players to the management. Benning doesn’t strike me as man who inspires. Green makes some really odd decisions. How does Höglander feel when he’s had two goals tonight. Plays a hell of a game. But Lammikö and Bailey gets more ice time than he does? What the &^@#.
  11. I’m with you. I think something pretty big has happened. It just hasn’t come to light yet. How do things change that drastically in 2 years?
  12. You have to wonder his radio silence since is speaking volumes. He’s either ready to do something stupid or he’s not going to do anything at all.
  13. I mean. I was one who wanted to sign petey to a long term deal. But if this is what we get. Thank God that he’s on a bridge deal.
  14. Yeah. Makes me wonder if the injury is actually not fully healed. Or if there is a rift between him and the coaching staff. He doesn’t look right. Like. At all.
  15. Not surprised with Vegas. If they had Eichel tonight. The game would’ve been even uglier.
  16. Could be a rift between him, coaching staff and management. Benning doesn’t exactly inspire confidence to me. And he’s been $&!# at his job for 8 goddam years.
  17. 7-5. They get closer to scoring 7 goals. oh. Ducks win
