[Proposal] Boeser to Las Vegas

No worries, this place is for discussion. KK seems like a more realistic RD target than Jiricek, Schneider or Morrow, but seems to have more upside than Cal Foote, or our own Jett Woo for example. His scouting report also sounds like an ideal match for Hughes (physical, shutdown, good skater, hard shot), and bonus he’s a big Canadian kid. -

No stress, I don’t follow other teams very closely, that’s why I’m always posting the scouting reports. -
[Proposal] Boeser to Las Vegas

He’s the right age, and great size. https://sportsforecaster.com/nhl/p/21940/Nicolas_Hague However, Martinez is 35 and McNabb is 32…Hague is likely their backfill plan on LD -

Does Hague play the right side? If not, where do you play him? -
[Proposal] Boeser to Las Vegas

Good points, Vegas love their big name acquisitions, and I could see Tarasenko going there… but he would cost a fortune, and they are short on futures as you mentioned. Maybe just Boeser retained for Korczak gets it done. -

It does seem like forever… you don’t believe the reports that several teams are seriously interested if we retain ~ $1.3M? Recently reported NJ and Washington for example. -

I think you post a lot, and largely about trading Miller -

In before @Coconuts suggests Miller instead of Boeser -
“The Golden Knights were dealt a tough blow learning that Mark Stone would be out indefinitely after undergoing a second surgery on Tuesday. He’s what stirs the drink in Vegas and it is expected the team will quickly start looking for pieces that can come in a help replace his production by committee. It has not been determined if he’ll miss the remainder of the season but should he go on LTIR, the Golden Knights have over $12 million in cap space with which to make a move.” Golden Knights need a top 6 RW, and we need a 22 year old RHD prospect Kaedan Korczak, who just finished some spot duty in the NHL, and could fit our window of being competitive in 2-3 years. Surprisingly, Brock has 8 fewer points than Stone this season, and they may be interested if we retain significant salary. Vegas has 7 D ahead of Korczak signed through next season, and has $15M space to sign 2-4 players next season. To VGK: Brock Boeser, $1.5M retained To VAN: Kaedan Korczak, 2023 2nd What do you think?

Agree Beau was a cap dump, but they have Bailey at $5M, which is probably where the negotiation started. He has one more year under contract and plays on the 4th line. Also, how do you figure Raty is a project? He’s a prospect that earned an NHL ELC at 19…he’s a nearly-developed NHL player with draft pedigree and size.

Dance was right about the Horvat trade making us worse for the next 2-3 years, in a vacuum. Also agree that trading Demko will signal a longer process, and whatever trades we make now will be very telling as to JRPA’s plans. Would love for management to give an updated target timeline for being competitive. Call it 25/26, so we can make moves accordingly, and the fan base can set their expectations.
