Interesting approach on packaging players

I like what OEL brings as a top 4D, and see him as overpaid by ~ $2M, so not worth the buyout once you replace him IMHO. Wait to see how he responds to the next coach/system also. A run and gun style doesn’t show well for dmen or goalies

To Detroit: Brock Boeser to Vancouver: Gustav Lindstrom, Michael Rasmussen 6’2” R shot dman, 25 years old 6’6” L shot Center, 23 years old from Surrey Detroit has the cap space, and has been listed as one of three potential destinations. his scouting report sounds like what we need. Anyone seen him play? SCOUTING REPORT Plays with poise in his own zone and does not get rattled when the pressure is on. Moves the puck well but does not have the offensive game to play elite minutes. Owns a good point shot but lacks the skills to be a power-play quarterback. Needs to add strength to his 6'2" frame to maximize output as an effective shutdown defenseman and to compensate for his lack of offensive skills. Long Range Potential: Rangy defenseman with some upside. SCOUTING REPORT Is still growing into his 6'6" frame as he tries to live up to being the No. 9 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft. At his best, he aggressively uses his big body to knock opponents off the puck, plays with creativity and generates a fair amount of offense in relation to his ice time. Is not the fastest player. Continues to lack consistency but is improving. Has improved defensively. Long Range Potential: Huge two-way center.
