Same, if we want to be competitive building around Petey and Quinn, we’ll need a great vet or two to take pressure of them and mentor the kids. We could do a lot worse than a PPG power forward C who hates losing. The argument that he doesn’t fit our timeline is nonsense. His NTC is for 4 years, that’s exactly our window to become competitive.
You make a good point, that’s why players need to play to win every night. But we can also ‘manage the season’ by shutting down hurt players when we know we can’t make the playoffs
I’m with you on Garland. I like what he brings, and he’s come alive lately with RT behind the bench. Was nice to see him go to the high danger area to score that beauty tonight. He has a habit of going in deep on the wall, and pivoting for sharp angle shots.
also with you on Boeser. Well said…great post
There are tiers of team tank fans, I think. Those that cheer for a loss, and those that cheer for the win, but accept losses readily, as what’s best for the team.
I like that he doesn’t call out the 5 players by name, and when Iaian basked if Kuz was one, he was honest enough to confirm it, but quick to give him a vote of confidence.
accountability, but some discretion
