I think it depends on whether or not another team would trade for him. "If" GMMG can get anything for him I say take it. Then use that money to go after a much better FA. And if that doesn't work, inject youth into the lineup and keep the cap space for later. Booth may be starting to come around, but he is still a long ways away from playing up to his salary, and I for one am still tired of playing the waiting game with him when what we truly need is a game changer. With Booth, we don't have that and his cap hit is wasted.

Too Early to call Kassian a dissapointment?
Jester13 replied to Go Go Canucks Go's topic in Canucks Talk
I think it is too early to call him a bust, although I have no qualms about analyzing/criticizing his game--why should he be any different from any other player? IMO, he doesn't appear to be an intelligent kid. He has made some bonehead plays so far in his early career, and when most players would smarten up, listen to the people around them, and then learn and correct their mistakes, Kassian seems to continue floating and making dumb play after dumb play. Will he turn out to be the player we all hope we will be? Not sure. Am I, for one, concerned about his improvement so far? Yes. Send him down to Utica and get him some top playing time with the farm. -

Sorry I've been gone for over a week visiting family in Van... did I miss anything? I see TRR is still copying and pasting superfluous creationist "evidence" so I guess I haven't missed much. Ahhhh, why do I bother? -

It's already been explained multiple times! I highly doubt that any one of us will explain it to you again, I know I won't. You can easily go through the thread, though, and try to figure it out. Try it with an open mind this time. Get off of the "ahhhhh he said he knows for 100% certainty" thing, because I never once claimed that... no one has. Here's another hint: get rid of your idea of knowledge and see what the link and everything else has to say about it, ok? If you really want to understand it all then I suggest getting rid of your biases because you are consistently getting blinded by them when I, or anyone else, tries to explain anything to you. The problem is that you know what you know, you don't take the time to understand our side of things; whereas, we do understand where you are coming from, as (I assume, but it seems quite clear to me) that we have all studied your ways of thinking, your arguments, your philosophy, etc and our own--it's why we can understand each other and you, and in the end we disagree with you. It would do you some good to study the other side because when you write back and forth trying to get us to answer you (which we all have) all you do is think about what you said and not what we are saying. It becomes very exhausting. It's hilarious, but exhausting at the same time. -

Your problem is that you are reading the statement "I know God does not exist" on its own and refusing to connect it with the link and everything I stated thereafter for the meaning which was intended. The reason why J.R and Gman can understand it is because they made the connections. Yourself and Buddha refuse to make the connection and instead remain stubbornly on the first line I wrote. As for you asking J.R or Gman to explain it to you in their own words... they already have ... -

It is my belief that were Voltaire alive today and knowing what we now know, he would be ridiculing you with his wit and irony to no end, throwing some of us into uncontrollable fits of laughter. -

If you are going to re-post what I said, along with the link, I suggest you then click on the link and re-read what's in it, along with everything else that I followed up with, so that you can maybe, just maybe, catch on to what it all means. -

I think I might be missing your point on this? People were burned at the stake for heresy, blasphemy, etc. It was a figure of speech that I just used for persecution. Am I missing something? -

Well I did put theists in brackets, meaning that it's not always theists who do. Look, some people find atheists offensive, abrasive, or whatever else, and it often results after someone's beliefs get challenged. In a sense, it can be hypocritical to complain about atheism speaking out when for centuries non-believers have been "burnt at the stake." It seems to me like we are splitting hairs here for the sake of splitting hairs.
