  1. He's 20 and his parents are obviously his main support network.
  2. Question: let's say you had the chance to meet Miller in person, would you call him pouty or pissy to his face? https://streamable.com/eannam
  3. We've seen fire. Only the team and coaching staff know whether he's pouty or a leader, but what we do know is that the coach, and many others, see it differently than you do.
  4. Or, maybe his fire when things aren't going well is what ignites the team, as he shows that losing and the woe-is-me mentality are not experiences you give into.
  5. Miller firing up the team? The point is that no one else shows the fire that he does, which is why he's often cited as the one to lead the team into the fight because he wants to win so badly, rather than accepting losing and having what Bruce called the woe-is-me mentality.
  6. When you have one clear obvious player who is leading his team into the fight, I personally think it's safe to say, at the very least, that he has the best response to losing, which can also be interpreted as he hates losing more. Granted, no one likes to lose, but someone's response to losing says a lot.
  7. When you look at the state of the team and his response compared to his teammates - i.e. the way he gets fired up, comes in clutch with producing points, first goal of the game, OT winners, etc - what do you call that, and what do you call the "woe is me mentality" in the rest?
  8. If Miller's response to losing is showing up every game, playing harder, and being our top forward as a result then that kind of screams that he hates losing more than others. At the very least it's easy to say that Miller has the best response to losing.
  9. I hear the interview quite differently than others, it seems. Miller said it all the right way, imo. He understands the business and came across as a professional who, regardless of the rumours, goes out and does what he's paid to do, which is to do everything he can to win hockey games. He's mentally tough whereas others... possibly not so much. I want more Millers and less woe-is-me types who let trade rumours impact and dictate their play on the ice. If you want to win or get a big pay day, be a professional and play like it. I didn't feel it came across as non-committal but rather someone who understands that the business can go either way, but the only thing you can do is play hard and see how things play out.
  10. And as just shown on Donnie and Dhali, a massive hit and fight last game. Between him and Burroughs, I really feel like we need to give these two guys big chances to develop and stick with us. They have shown so much potential.
  11. I keep hearing this latey, that Bo shows up when games matter. Well, they've mattered for a while, so where is playoff Horvat when we need him most to get into the playoffs?
  12. Pearson has 258 points in 559 games Boeser has 240 points in 302 games.
  13. I mean, it was sent in jest, but it also proves a solid point.
  14. I've wondered as well whether or not he's been playing hurt, as he really doesn't look like the Horvat of previous years.
  15. Holy moly, man. I even gave you a link. If you're unwilling to even view the first result that comes up, what is someone supposed to do? Honestly, what aGent has offered is very well-known in the communications/design community. But, as I provided, a simple Google search can do you wonders, and merely asking someone to start regurgitating sources in this thread is not a way to "win" an argument, as all it proves is that you're only going to continue moving the goal posts every time someone offers something to you.
  16. Part of me understands the sentiment, but the other majority part of me says: If you want to make the playoffs then play like it night in and night out, Captain.
  17. Maybe, but they did have him on the list with those other three not too long ago, and now they don't after their full assessment of the team. It wouldn't surprise me if Bo has let them know he wants to move on. He hasn't really shown consistently this year that his heart is in the fight, and I don't think he wants to stick around for much longer to maybe be competitive in a minimum of two years from now.
  18. What I find the most interesting is that not too long ago the ones they weren't listening to offers on were Petey, Hughes, Demko, and Bo, but now Bo isn't in that list. I wonder if Bo has let them know that he wouldn't mind a change of scenery, or if the management group is merely recognizing that he may not be part of the solution here.
