  3. The Pittsburgh Penguins are a little giddy to select with the 47th overall selection in the 2021 Entry Draft forward Prokhor Poltapov.
  4. safe pick, live a little man! teasing, nice addition.
  5. a little late to the party here, I wanted to congratulate @Azzy and the Detroit Red Wings on a superb season and on your CDCGML Championship! You assembled a deep and productive team and continued to add whenever able to, your acquisitions later in the season in my opinion at the time and have now been confirmed really did put your squad over the top, again congratulations on your season and your Championship, was a pleasure to watch this unfold. Hats off to those who took steps forward this year, @theo5789 I really liked the team you built this season, was a "Wild" one . @Squeak, I really felt you were going to take it all this year, I mean so many Tampa players too, like who invests in so many real life winning players and falls short right ? ( says the cheeky over-trader who got swiped in the first round by @da.moose of all GMs, the guy who never gets past round 1 ). Was a pleasure dealing with the rest of you GMs this season, for many a different and challenging one in real life, many stresses for a lot of our members with real life goings on so wanted to thank you guys for your time here. Lastly, @canuck2xtreme, hats off to another fantastic season in CDCGML, the amount of time and work involved is never taken for granted over here, you choosing to give us your time in this regard is really an awesome way to help us enjoy this league, distract us at times from real life and ofcourse push to challenge to win it all! @greensman, welcome as GM of our newest organization in Seattle, all the best to you as you build your team from the ground up, the Pacific Northwest is in for a treat! Thanks guys!
  6. The part I just don't yet understand as factual is if the player has even asked management for a trade or discussed him not being a fit here and thus assuming he wants or is getting shipped out. Based off the one season with limited interviews and stories of how he has settled with his teammates he'd be the last guy I would again just assuming to cause any disruptions in the locker room. One thing said earlier on this past season after there was much talk about " what is wrong with JT Miller ? " and why do some players seem to really be having an off year as in Schmidt maybe less than many expected is not alone around the League in his suggested short comings this year. Anyways the and possibly an Elliotte interview but he kind of took a step back and tried to explain the actual grind and negative and uncomfortable experiences many players were struggling with involving the covid restrictions while trying to traverse the continent and play at the highest level away from family during for some a very scary and real time. The thought was put out there that " hey, this season while judging and assessing talent sure, isn't the year to hold performance and production at 110% ". Not to go on here, but my point is Schmidt just as any other player can have a bounce back season, could literally and honestly had a terrible year in Vancouver off the ice but maintained his professionalism. I think given where society is at now in regards to the pandemic and opportunity for normalcy in peoples lives will play a huge part in these things. It would be extremely pre-mature to suggest acquiring a top four defenseman for a 3rd round pick going into season two with the new club and the first real potential Training Camp and life experiences with the team and his family in this city as being another loss on Benning's side of things. Gudbranson, right idea, terrible follow through, that was a miss.
  7. The Pittsburgh Penguins are " over the moon " slap happy to select with the 41st overall selection in the 2021 Entry Draft forward Ayrton Martino.
  8. Schmidt should remain in Vancouver, he will more than likely have a bounce back season. That said he is not getting traded for a 2nd or 3rd round pick type of return, his value as a defenseman the Canucks need is far greater, take into account other clubs know the player he is not what is perceived by some as a big contract on a poor performer. Maybe he is packages to make a significant upgrade at the defense position but not removing a very good defenseman for picks.
  9. The Pittsburgh Penguins are ecstatic to select with the 39th overall selection in the 2021 Entry Draft defenseman Sean Behrens
  10. New Jersey will be presenting our expansion list by mid-day Saturday, if teams are looking to add an NHL calibre defenseman or forward for non roster assets, feel free to get in touch.
  11. I was wondering about that myself. I mean Edvinsson I could see but.........
  12. The Pittsburgh Penguins are proud to select with the 7th overall selection in the 2021 Entry Draft defenseman Simon Edvinsson.
  13. I wonder if this applies to bringing your own fire bowl and bag of briquettes to the campground ?
  14. PENGUINS ENTRY DRAFT REPORT Pittsburgh is open to moving the number 9 overall selection in this year's draft, however we are looking to either double up on later picks if not add a quality defenseman to the team. If you have a variety of picks in later in the 1st or in other rounds and want to discuss let me know. Completely prepared to make our selection should we keep the pick, interested parties feel free to drop me a line here or on discord.
  15. PENGUINS EXPANSION PROTECTION LIST: 7F,3D,1G F: Jonathan Toews F: Jonathan Drouin F: Travis Konecny F: Brady Tkachuk F: Drake Batherson F: Troy Terry F: Sam Steel D: Brent Burns D: P.K. Subban D: Calvin De Haan G: Jonathan Quick
  16. AGENT DUTIES Hey guys, I apologize for my absence of late and really feel bad that many of you have reached out to me in regards to contracts with no correspondence occurring. I am unfortunately unable to continue my agent duties as we head into the offseason and Free Agency period, I cannot offer the time required to ensure fair and prompt negotiation and it was/is a source of pride I do have and regrettably must take a step back due to real life.... being multiple jobs taking up 7 days/nights a week while squeezing family time in is a priority and is not allowing me the free time to ensure GMs are properly being replied to and contracts worked out. So please if you have sent me pms, you may want to add canuck2xtreme to the conversations to continue work on deals or to post anything already agreed to. I will be available to consult in this regard sporadically but can't say when and where I will be. I appreciate all your time, I intend on making more time in future to take on a larger role if available to me when I am ready, for now I am going to work on focusing on the Devils and righting the ship after a disappointing early Playoffs exit this season. thanks
  17. Congratulations to @da.moose and your Washington Capitals on a very assertive series win! The Devils simply could not compete with your lineup's firepower in the lineup from player 1 through to 23. Hats off on the win, if anyone has a team built to take out the Coyotes its your Caps, I look forward to watching your team's journey to the Finals and perhaps all the way. All the best!
  18. I like Baumgartner's story as a player, like the guy but as a fan I just want to see a change from Baumgartner and Brown for next season and beyond please.
  19. I saw this, listening to 650 show and the insistence that Benning was out of place if not professional. He literally said what it was and is getting ripped for it because he didn't use tact when speaking to Jake Virtanen's current situation. Nobody suggests the seriousness of the situation but its pretty lame to harp on the guy for calling it what it is.
