100 years ago, i coached little league in both newton and north delta. my best friend back then, still lives in surrey. his son played in that tourney. he'ld probably be in his late 40's now. whalley seems to represent canada a lot. they grow good ball players there. 

@smithers joe yea BC is normally the Canadian representative at the LLWS (Partially because LL is very big here, not in ontario or quebec). I never played LL growing up (my parents like to say they put me into "real" BC minor ball), but when I was younger during my 2 years of eligibility both my district and my grandparents district went to the World Series (Little Mountain and Hastings respectively). I actually am friends with guys who were on both those teams and they said it was one of the most amazing experiences of their lives. I always though what could have been for me.
