From the highlights and reading about him, it sounds like Dickinson is an opportunistic goal scorer, often finding soft spots in the middle of the ice. Isn't really a great distributor of the pick as often its his wingers that set him up.

He does however, seem to find himself in good spots to scored, but a criticism was that he often whiffed on shots. So sounds like he could improve on his execution on shots too. However, he spent a lot of time with Tyler Seguin, Mattias Janmark or Jamie Benn who naturally would have the puck on their stick.

Who knows, perhaps with him being the main QB on the line (depending who he is deployed with) we may see him carry the puck more.

I think Dickenson can score at least 30 with his line mates. Pod/Hog/Pearson two of those would make the line a hardworking and hard to play against line. Especially if both Pod and Hog are on that line, endless motors for days.
