i heard that chicago fans and media are mentioning both boeser and garland as possible pick  ups. might have been locked on blackhawks. myers might fit there too.

Chicago's got a fair bit of work to do if they want to ice something that doesn't resemble a bottom feeder next season, hopefully we can get them to take some cap.

well that answers most of my questions except how the odds of the 4 balls is in happening? is there a % on each 4 ball selection? right now it seems that each team has the same odds. canucks could pick 1st, 2nd, 11th, 12th or 13th.

The league is a complete joke. Has been for quite awhile. I stopped watching in early January...I may come back next season or I may not. We'll see. I found I didn't miss it as much as I thought I would and by late February I didn't care too much at all. 

This was the first year in 30 years I didn't watch almost every game.

Actually it's not like the NHL doesn't have a history of this.  Go back as far as the 1967-68 season when the first big expansion happened during the 'original six days'.  They (NHL) put all the expansion teams in one division and the "original six teams" in the other division.  The Cup finals would be represented by one team from each division.  This *GUARANTEED* one of the expansion teams to be in the Cup Finals!

Oh, if one doesn't need to dislike the Leafs anymore, the Canucks were supposed to be among the leading contenders to receive an expansion team in that first group but largely as a result of the Laffs veto'ing Vancouver's bid; we had to wait until a few years later.
